How do you think you we do against the Mighty Reds 2moro.
Hopefully the youngsters supply the goods and it opens up fat boys eyes to start playing some young talent once in a while instead of old fogeys
The younger players who get a chance tomorrow really have something to play for as the first team are not doing well, and a good performance could see them get a call to the first team. A real chance for them to stake a claim in the first team!
I can only hope that Sam will give them this chance and let them put pressure on the first team to do better.
That worked then.
Disgraceful tactics from BFS yesterday. None of it made sense at all. He cannot excuse this at all as he had Burke on the bench who is a CB so 4 at the back was possible. Even if he had to switch Downing to left back and shunt Potts to CB he still should have gone 4 a t the back. None of the players knew where to be and as a result our defence was a shambles. Downing and Jarvis were also played in unfamiliar positions and this just made things worse as they couldn't influence the game in any way at all.
This WAS a free game for BFS if he had just stuck to the same tactics the younger players know and given them a chance to show what they can do. I feel as though he has done this deliberately and that cannot be forgiven. Disgraceful!
