im a leeds fan McCormack isn't going to move he has signed a contract this season and has been made captain he loves it at leeds that could change the leeds united board now we have money are very keen to hold onto our best players to prove to our support we are not a selling club anymore I think if only a ridiculas bid comes in 8mil plus plus would be accepted if leeds go up they instantly become a massive top 4 club in stature they make more in merchandising than Manchester city to say they have been out of the premiership 10 years I think leeds will go up next season and would go for far better players than McCormack leeds would have a massive pulling power should they go up as for westham signing championship players is a bad idea look at zaha last season he was easily the best player in the championship look how that ended up moving back to westham i'd advise big sam that when you sign championship players that's where you end up

Another Leeds fan here apologising for the above Leeds fan who is talking garbage. We're broke, we wouldn't by any stretch of the imagination be top 4 club in stature, not anymore, and we wouldn't have massive pulling power, oh and did I mention we're broke.

Now that's out of the way, they only way I really see them selling ross is if he asks to go. we have spent nothing on players after all the talk of investment so to let ross go then would probably cause the looting of elland rd and thorpe arch. anyway hope you hammers go sniffing elsewhere! {Ed013's Note - Unfortunately contracts mean nothing these days and if Leeds accept an improved offer then McCormack will speak with West Ham, that's not to say he will sign}

If they actually pull through with Ross McCormack as well as Borriello and Nocerino I would be more than satisfied considering the circumstances. But there's one prob, wheres the covering defender we need to bring in?

As good as McCormack might be, he will not be played in a position to get the best out of him. Fat Sam plays % football knock into big fella either set pieces or long balls and feed off scraps. His love child Nolan will always play just off main striker all the time he is fit or not suspended. I can't help feeling that who ever we get and what their reputation unless we revise our tactics we will not improve our goal scoring record.

Leeds rejected it

Have to agree with you there tickerboyce bfs has no plan b full stop some of his strikers past and present are unsuited to his style of play.
maiga maynard baldock have never been suited to his style of play as you pointed out its all about knocked downs balls. and dead ball situations with someone pushing up from midfield ie nolan.
when we had problems scoring I would have liked to have played to our strengths ie cole/maiga upfront jarvis /downing on the wings with either with a center of either joe cole/morrison/nolan as a/m cdm either diame/noble/ diarra/ or collison if he had gone with 442 and got results and he got results he would have unable to return to the 451.
the reason this has not happened and this is why he went 460 formations proves that if bfs started getting results along with good performances he would been unable to justify returning to the boring 451 which is designing to nick and grind out results.
i still feel a change is needed at the club not just the manager but in the way the club is being run on a day to day basis

If tv is to be believed West Ham have made a £3 million bid for Ross McCormack.

I think the person on here the other day that said we were signing Good Championship Players in preparation for next season may have had a point. lol.

I am genuinely stumped how we can go from approaching players like Joleon Lescott, Johnny Heitinga, and Raul Meireles to signing players of the calibre of Roger Johnson and Ross McCormack.

I really do hope we aren't giving up on Lescott, Nocerino, Meireles and Borriello. All 4 of them would significantly improve our squad, but I am just not confident we will sign any of them.

Why are people so convinced all the time that foreign imports are the answer who is the last player from abroad in recent times with maybe the exception of Demba ba and Tevez who were a great success we have had our fingers burnt so many times the list of failures over the last say 6 seasons is endless, I would much rather go for good british/English players anyday

Looks like were close to signing carlos Kickabout and relegatio namust that's about all my beloved club is falling apart whilst all in charge are sitting in the sun instead of trying to save the club unless an unforeseen turnaround happens at Chelsea I appeal to all fans to stay away for the Swansea game no bums on seats might get action perhaps too late for this season but it might change things for the future IRONMIKE
