Lets not raise our hopes on BONY too much cause we all know what our record is like with players and its not great.
Am hearing all sorts in the press about him and this January move to china. Also hearing he wants to move to us but would like a permanent deal as would city at cut down price. All conjection and rumour which all probably means NOTHING as always with west ham especially when you consider that we have also bid for Gabbiadini, had another go for Bacca and still interested in ZAZA. In true west ham fashion we can;t identify a real need and go get it we have to hedge our bets cause we take so long and are likely to miss out. I hope we get bony otherwise we going to have hevay workload for calleri who I really like.

How do we all feel about having Bony for 4 months? No doubt he'll be our best striker at the club one of the best we've had in years. There was a time that it was out of him or Andy Carroll and what a mistake we made there! He was an absolute beast in a Swansea shirt and there's no doubt that playing like that he's your 20 goal a season striker! Problem solved! HOWEVER, just imagine he gets that old form back from those Swansea days playing week in week out scoring in most games taking us up the league so we're sniffing around top 4 and then he's off. After Afcon we get Ayew back to fill he's boots. AYEW? I'm just imagining the disappointment and how depressed I'm going to feel around that time. Seeing our bubble burst and us slowly start to drop off once again. There's no way Ayew has the potential to replicate what Bony can do. He's a winger for god sake. As for Carroll there's no way we can rely on him! No doubt he'll be in the treatment room at this time and if not it will be beckoning! Yes I would like Bony but as a loan for 4 months? How can he fully put he's heart in it. I would rather us sign Bony as our player at least for the season without any interruptions so the squad get settled. These are my concerns, for these reasons if Zaza is available for a season long loan with option to buy, younger, more mobile. he would definitely be my preferred option.

Great post. I'm sure IF and WHEN we get BONY we could have an option to extend his loan to the end of the season and then potential to buy. If we can't then this should be included in the deal.

12 month loan deal would be good to start with and then get him signed to a further 3 years.

I feel ARSENAL are going to punt for slimani this week, WH have had plenty of time to go for him and they havnt. They obviously feel that for what ever reason he's not suitable! ANYWAY if the player comes to the premier league we will find out who is right and who is wrong, IRONMIKE.
