surprise surprise, west ham are AGAIN pondering over a move for Salomon Kalou and MAY be making an offer. WHy is it then that Clubs like Norwich, Fulham don't ponder or mull they simply make a bid and get the man they want. Apparently West Ham also being linked with Charlie Austin who would be a great purchase except he just failed a medical?? Confused. And last apparently newcastle still want Tomkins but are only willing to go up to £5m

striker wise expect a buy and a loan or free transfer g/s are juggling so if the got one striker on loan one on a free the would pay for a rw i'd like sincair or milner.

I think the point is- if you try and wheel and deal too much you might get a choice of has-beens that no one else wants. We are getting linked with so many that it looks like desperation already. We could have got Bony and certainly Hooper (if he's good enough). And as a further aside WHO at at the Hammers is responsible for checking the legal/contractual side because Zapata situation should have been avoided. Not negative supporter because right behind Board and Sam.
Exactly. I think that at times we try and wheel and deal to much instead of identifying a target and offering the asking price. Don;t get me wrong, there are times when you do need to negotiate. Salomon Kalou is our latest target and Lille have said they want £3m. We offer £2.5m, Why? We could really do with him and now WBA will offer the £3m and get from under our noses. AGAIN!
Nobody other than those inside westham no what funds are available so there has to be a certain amount of wheeling and dealing in the transfer market it changes daily.

If you listen to the idle chit chat from the Tabloids then its your fault you feel constantly let down, not once has anyone from west ham come out and said where after this player or that player we have offered this or that, so untill its done chill enjoy the gossip by by all means don't beleive half of it!
Agree with some of the rubbish on here but I still have faith in Big Sam and G&S. Ok, so not long to go but at least we now know exactly where we have to improve. Couple of strikers, RB and we should be about set. Charlie austin would be a good shout with Kalou and Carroll
