Great job by dgs today. Think we've had a really good window and look forward to seeing all the options we have in the squad now. This looks like the best squad we have had in a long long time. Work to do though but roll on the boring international break can't wait to see how we shape up against Newcastle COYI!

Hi felllas, well that's got shot of Jarvis, anyway even if only for the season, we are going to have amazing competition for places, which is something we havnt had in many years, that alone should help make the differnce, as no one will think their position is set in stone anymore, the combinations you can make with this squad, allowing for the injured to return is amazing, I've come up with about five or six variations already!! Seems like the big challenge now will to fit everyone in and keep everyone happy very nice dilemma to have though I think we can see how Bilic wants to lay away from home will be very interesting to see what formation he uses against Newcastle though.The best thing for me is we actually have options from the bench so we can changes things if one formation isn't working.

Wow, last week I was almost in fear of reading these pages and how disappointed everyone was and the negativity, then against the odds we go and make history and win at Anfield and capped it off today, with the end of a fantastic transfer window, shame the spuds shot themselves in the foot but not to worry £15m for Kouyate cheeky sods, credit to DGS & SB great work, many of the experts are shocked with the deals we have completed, exciting times are ahead. Yes nothing wrong with what your saying and would probably work ok but I still think jenkinson deserves his place he has had a shaky start to the season I know but I think he was one of our strongest performers last season so I have kept him in for now.I went for Tonks in front of ogbonna purely on sentimental grounds always been a big tompkins fan he has never let anybody down always a consistent solid performer.IT is amazing how four signings have transformed the possible formations and teams well done to the board and SB some real good thinking gone into this transfer window.i think for the first time in a long time it is very difficult to predict what the team will be if you asked ten different people they could probably come up with ten different competitive teams.

Adebayot has come out on the media, saying he wants to play for another club, whatever now happens, he has burned his bridges at spurs, it's along way back from that situation, he should not have done that wether he comes to wh or not, because he is a spurs player, and he could put himself in breach of contract, spurs are not fools, and they are being made to look like that by adebayor IRONMIKE

Chaps out of interest does anyone know how these medical school work?
It seems staggering to me that WH can fork out 7m plus on a player and it seems the medical takes around a hour or less, I would have thought with so much money involved this would at least a day for all tests to come back etc

Firstly, If a player is performing well elsewhere, which Antonio was, obviously he must be in good general condition to start,with, but nothing is taken for granted, medical is usually Two or three parts, starts with x rays, ,and the tunnell, and blood tests whilst these results are awaited, physical movements joints etc happen, then treadmill breathing ,pulse, heart rate , by that time results are back from the first lot of tests, two to three hours is normal, by the time all results are in, IRONMIKE

Having said that I am happy with our deals today, not sure about Jelavic as he has always come across as lazy and moody, and his games to goals ratio is poor, but having said that, better than Cole or maiga. Also glad no dealings with the spuds!

Ironmike, we now have 5 strikers and still considering 2 more. We have 1 winger and the Antonio deal is moving again, we have enough central midfielders now and enough centre backs but only JB as a backup full back and Tonks surely we are looking for another quality replacement here?
Also we have an abundance of high wage players that we surely are looking to move on almalfitano and Jarvis to name 2, are we doing anything here? Even subsidised loans would help!
Whatever happens great business for us, and no deals with the spuds to put icing on cake.

Last season I posted several times west ham need two interchangable teams to be able to compete in top eight, this is now underway obviously BUT won't be completed until next summer window. I'm confused with this Adebayor link still. If Moses has signed than we have our 2 domestic loans. He has a year left at Spurs on 110k a week. The only way to get him is permantly, but I can't see us offering him a long deal as in my view his a 6 month wonder at a new club.
We could offer him a year contract with a view for longer if he performs, but I'm sure we will not pay 110k a week, and can't see him dropping his wages for a year when he can get that at Spurs.
I'm confused with us still being linked unless Moses has not signed. Any thoughts anyone

It's simple, If it can be pulled off adebayor gets payoff from spurs contract cancelled he's then afree agent, as afree agent, he can go where he likes and the window doesn't apply to him any more, he's then free to make his own arrangements at whatever club will take him IRONMIKE

All of this rumour and counter rumour is frustrating. I think from what I read that we have signed song. That jelavic will be complete in the morning. Moses possible to probable in various posts (although Ironmike says deal fallen through), Antonio still possible, Lennon still possible, sisto still possible, Collins angry about being linked with a move away
Really all this crap being floated about is stupid, I personally will be glad when it's all over.
Ironmike generally has a good handle on the reality but clearly all is too dynamic for us all to keep up with.
In conclusion- who knows??
