Hoddle has been approached about WHU. this is a fact

Fact mayeb, but Sam is still in post and bosses are reluctant to replace him despite shocking perfromances.

Even if we get another striker he needs the service. There are plenty of clubs around with strikers who don;t score because the service they get is useless.

On that note, because Sam loves his high balls and crosses into the box Rickie Lambert would be a great choice as would Shane Long. Forget Carroll and play with those two up front, supported by Diarra (when Fit), Morrison, Downing (when fit) and Joe Cole I reckon we'd do ok. Sell Nolan, Collison, Jarvis (rubbish and not worth what we paid), Taylor, Petric, Maiga, Obrien, Demel, McCartney (ok, so the suad is getting a bit thin on the ground) and get youngsters with pace in. Chris Solly is a great shout and give Potts a go with Roland in the side. Centre Back needs strengthening and Heitinga would be a great shout

Agree with most of the above post, Jarvis to stay however. He gets past right backs and delivers great balls into the area, he is only dulled out because he hasn't got anyone to cross to. If AC was fit in the first part of the season so far everyones harsh opinion on Jarvis and Downing would be turned on their heads.

One more thing, Diarra? Really? The midfield should consist of Jarvis/Noble/Diame/Downing ideally, then you have the likes of J. Cole/Morrison/Collison on the bench with a couple of new signings in Jan hopefully. A nice attacking midfield but Noble and Diame can track back if need, they are solid to sit in front of the back four on the defensive side of their game

Lastly, I agree with bringing the youngsters through! The likes of Chambers, Lletget, Tombides, Turgott, Lee, Moncur, Potts, need to slowly start getting a taste of first squad action, even if one place on the bench was continuously being rotated between these lot. The aim for our new manager at the end of the season is long term, Allardyce was too suited to a short term fix

Damn right. we have some great young players who will never get the chance under allardyce

Good luck to the boy's tonight and all the lad's going tonight (THE BEST) sing louder than you usally do Suffolk Irons

Am torn because I want the boys to do well but I want sam out

I will keep supporting them if results don't pick up then sam will be on his bike nobody knows that more than him, if he turns things round and results pick up then that's good. I for one just want the team to do well regardless of whose manager. KEEP THE FAITH ONCE AN IRON ALWAYS AN IRON

Well said sir
