Alright Guy's want to start a different debate from the ones that keep getting repeated.
I see Mr Hearne down at Orient is at it again saying that we should be sharing the stadium like normal but this time saying that next year when we are in the same division it would make sense (not that were getting relegated).
So what I am asking is if you in favour of the move to the OS would your opinion change if Orient were to get there way or would you not be bothered? if it would change you opinion why?

Talkin_Bubble

1.) First of all I would like to say Hearne is absolutely ludacris by basically stating that next season West Ham United and LO could be on the same level, that's just an insult!

For the football side of it, West Ham would be better off having the stadium solely themselves. Who wants to share a stadium these days? Also bringing West Ham down to Orients level by sharing the stadium would be a serious downer! Orient wouldn't be able to cough up half the annual rent (which I think is around £2m) anyway!

For Orient its a battle they kind of need to win in order to bring a bright future to their football club, with west ham moving within inches of their home ground, into the queens stadium, the home of the 2012 Olympic games. its only going to reduce peoples interest in going to see Orient play.

For West Ham its a great deal won, one of the best stadiums in Europe will now be the home of the irons! To put it bluntly, sharing with orient makes us look bad, especially if West Ham are progressing over the next couple of years to become this Europe contending premiership squad as they move into the Olympic stadium.

Taking into consideration government politics, taxes, blah blah. sharing the stadium will not only create more for the taxpayers pound but re-generate the revamp costs the government have laid out to make the stadium ready by 2016.

Overall without going to far into Boris Johnsons arse or without slagging Orient off too much, its better for West Ham to have the stadium on their own for me

Sharing is caring though, I suppose :D

2.) Well its refreshing to turn away from the shortage of strikers etc. although this subject has been discussed before prior to the time West Ham United were given stadium rights. I feel that mr hearn really shot himself in the foot and created great animosity with ds at dg by siding with spurs and their tricksters. if he had sided with West Ham United or even indeed remained a neutral. i'm sure Orient would have been accommodated in some fashion. although with crowd average of 3000 i'm not sure their contribution would be much. I see mr hearn now loves West Ham United thinks we will get relegated orient promoted. and it would be silly for 2 teams in the same division not to share a ground REALY!. this guy is as slippery as they come, cannot see him getting his way. and if that brings doom ( very unlikely) to the orient he has brought it on his own head. case closed IRON MIKE

3.) Why doesn't he ask to share with the spuds at there new ground share with orient yes share with hearn no {Ed001's Note - simply because what has happened is a blatant breach of the FA's own rules and regs. No club is allowed to move within a certain distance of another one. Spurs have not moved anywhere as they didn't get the stadium. If they had been the ones to get it, I am sure Hearn would be trying to share with them instead. I do understand his frustration, but he has done nothing to help a share happen, quite the opposite. He has, almost singlehandedly, made the whole idea untenable now. Shame, as I don't think a groundshare would have been such a bad thing for West Ham either, as it would have reduced costs slightly for them, leaving them more money to invest on players.}

well well well what a shocking yet unsuprising end to the transfer window, with the typical tv coverage where West Ham did'nt get mentioned once, no suprising since they knew what we knew no matter what the owners have said the plan was always to bring back Carlton Cole back! Wonder how much harder they would have tried if Freebe Carlto had'nt been waiting in the wings!

I would just like to say that I cannot beleive some of the Narrrow minded whingers on here who fail to see the bigger picture all the time! when we panic buy and spend biug money on unknown's (Savio) you all whinge but when there clearly working on something behind the scenes to get in a player that Big Sam (the expert) thinks would fit the bill your still not happy, I would understand the frustration if we had started the season with two lose's or if we were still in the championship, but we have just signed Two England international's and the Captain of Romania as well as an up and coming Goalie of the back of a great first season back in the Premiership! so if you are a west ham fan like me through thick and thin then its time to SUPPORT the team and stop bring them down with the negativity!

1.) Couldn't agree more, I have been posting against all the negative posts on this forum for a little while now, we are more than capable of another top ten finish. we are not contending for Europe or the bloody league title so what is everyones worry?

Solid top ten finishes until 2016 when we move home to the queens stadium and then maybe we can step it up a notch to start making top 8 finishes with a bit of bite to contend for a place in Europe

2.) Ditto .

3.) Completely agree.

BFS and the Davids have turned the club around completely in a very short time. I have never seen a club bounce back from a position that we were in so quickly and successfully, so huge credit has to go to them. A lot of fans lose sight of this and have no memory as to how down in the dumps we really were. They are doing a great job.

There is a bright future ahead. We have two years until we step into the new stadium and I for one would like to see us in a really strong position when we get there. This will be a slow process and it needs to be done properly without big risks. Moyes took 8 years to make Everton a consistent top 10 team, the whingers seem to expect BFS and Davids to do it in 2! I can only assume that these fans know nothing about the game. So in the words of Andy Gray "Do me a favour love"

I am disappointed to see RVTs comments recently, and to see he has put a transfer request in. Although I do sympathise with him, and I see his reasoning. A lot of people say he is not EPL quality, but he has not had a chance to play in his position to prove otherwise, so these opinions are essentially based on little substance. He certainly isn't a top EPL quality winger, he HAS proved that. He deserves to be ahead of Maiga in my opinion and I would love to see him start against Stoke. It sounds like he took one for the team last season by playing out of position on the right. That shows commitment and he deserves a chance ahead of Maiga.

Yes Ed we were know for our academy but that was 10 years ago when other clubs where just as willing to use youngsters but now everyone buys foreign, which IMO is Halting the progress of our youngsters because a club is likely to use them when the teams we are playing against are fielding multi million pound talent.
