Its being reported on tv this morning. Quote RVT as saying he has made his decision with a heavy heart, but he feels he does not figure in Big Sam's plans. Would do a good job for a decent Championship side, but no way is he premier league class.

Tv this morning. probably need to offload maiga on loan and then a deal for a unwanted european stiker can be done on a loan basis at first.

Now that I have seen him request a transfer (which may even be the club secretly forcing him to do so) its a little bit of a shame for me. Although he is dead weight at West Ham if we bring in an additional striker, he would be good as a 80th min sub every other game to try and nick a winning goal if we don't manage to bring someone half decent in

Looks like Blackpool are homing in on Ricardo Vaz Te as replacement for Matt Phillips but I believe he will cost them in the region of £3m. Not sure how muich Matt Phillips went for. Watch for Matt Taylor, George McCartney and others not wanted to leave West Ham also

No offence to Vaz Te but he simply isn't good enough, for this west ham team anymore. This is a good move for the club. He is behind Jarvis, Downing and Cole for the wing position and he is certainly behind Carroll and Maiga up top. He is unfortunately the definition of a top class championship player and a below par premiership player. All the best for him. Hopefully we will bring someone in who is better, onwards and upwards.

Club will not have forced him to, He does'nt seem the sort to do something unless its his choice. Clearly done it because he just wants to leave. weird that he was supposedly at the Club store in romford this morning though.

Y leave it till the last 5 days of transfer window to put in the request for a transfer abd others to follow, doesn't give the hammers enough time go for the players they want wouldn't be surprised if one player gets a transfee
