IronMike, is it true that Baruk Yilmaz is coming to West Ham? I think this will be a very good signing.

SEEMS to be, this is all the work of SB, he has apparently been back to Turkey twice in the last three weeks, it was thought he was after moussa sow or mehmet topal , but this could be agreat signing ok he's thirty, but could do well , for us, let's keep fingers crossed that he signs in due course, IRONMIKE

Iron Mike, please could you give me an update on the Haliliovic situation, as this seems to change every day. He is the sort of player I would like to see play for West Ham.
{Ed002's Note - Barcelona are to send Halilovic out on loan with enquiries being made by Everton, Sporting Gijon, West Ham, Real Betis and Sevilla. Sevilla met again with Barcelona representatives yesterday. This was the third or fourth meeting so that seems to be going nowhere.}

{Ed002's Note - I have no way of quantifying chances - but there is strong interest as Mike has been saying. I suspect Barcelona would rather he go on loan in Spain. I would think the issue with Sevilla will be guaranteed game time. Sporting Gijon might offer a solution that suits Barcelona. Everton might well push today or tomorrow if they want to make a deal happen - else you can probably discount them. WHU have the advantage of Bilic, so that might be a preference for the player himself. Real Betis discussed the player back in June with Barcelona, nothing happened then, but they are apparently still interested.}

Iron Mike, do you have an updates on the chances of us signing Alen Halilovic? This is the sort of player West Ham should be signing.

He is the type of player,we should be signing as you are Aware everton, real betis, and another unknown club trying to get in on the act here, but real good chance, we should know within aweek, , ditto mirallas, the song situation should also clarify this week after his operation, what is NOT clear as if this moment is what is going on up front? All sorts of stories are presently in the air, 90% of them are rubbish! dgs are under the cosh on this position no question, Zarate is not a fourth striker he's useless and Valencia, will get this season to show what he's about, otherwise he will get chopped , Carroll, running about now, but we don't need to discuss him any further, it's because of his. Wages we cannot buy Austin, that's it plain and simple, and Randolph as second string goalkeeper is a joke , WH are far from job done, I hope they have done enough to improve out league standing but the way others around us are currently strengthening , I HAVE BIG DOUBTS. Song deal is on, off, on again, off again, etc. I am getting a bit tired of him to be honest. I would like him to stay but if he really wanted to he would have signed by now. I think he is harboring secret desires to go elsewhere and is playing a waiting game hoping someone like Chelski will make him a much bigger offer.

I agree with Ed002. I think we should avoid Destro. I would like to see one of Hernandez, Remy or Austin.
