Well this is it, the window is open, a lot of chatter about Man U looking to step on the gas to sign rice in the next two weeks, I hope not I really hope he stays. As well as bringing a couple of key positions in if possible, the main thing is keeping players, for example rice and Bowen. Here's to hope, hope that the players and the board do the right thing.

Whitby, HNY to you and Family and everybody everywhere?
Quite honestly for me it’s gone on too long the Rice business now! Although I would prefer him to stay obviously, if he goes we’ll replace him with a number of players, they’ll still be WH forever⚒

I also don’t buy into the statement of “building a team around Rice” or any top player in any team. What does that actually mean? That the player in person now becomes the Manager, the trainer, as well, as choosing who they want to play, that’s rubbish, what if that player suffers a serious long term injury? One player cannot be bigger than any club as we all know?
Don’t mean to be controversial, but I can’t see it any differently, no matter how good a player!

I want to keep Rice and make the most of having arguably the best defensive footballer in the league at this moment in time, however IF the player, the board or whoever decides that selling him for a large sum of money is what is best for the club, as long as they reinvest the money they get for him, I would have no qualms necessarily.

No player is ever bigger than a club, but at the same time, Declan Rice is Our biggest asset and our best player and with £100-150 million to spend on players, we could sign some gems.

Die-4, exactly my point?He is a fantastic young player, the best we’ve ever had, it’s a short career as we all know, why shouldn’t he make the most of it if he may think he cannot achieve with WH what he wants to achieve?

Not sure why he would want to join that rabble.

There is no way Rice will be sold in January the club would not even accept a bid it is just paper talk. Likely to go in the summer though if we don’t get in the top 4 I would guess.

We all want Rice to stay, but if Chelsea or City come in with a £100m bid and £300k per week, would you stay? I also feel he’ll leave at the end of the season, not January. He’s guaranteed trophies and. European football with those 2. Plus, to date, Moyse has done really well, I’d trust Moyse with the money. He’s not Pellegrini.
On s secondary note, I think we’ll put all our eggs in the Europa League.

Hi Chelmsford, all good at this end my friend, how about. Happy new year to you and all the guys and girls on here. I 100% agree with all of you after my comments. I would like him to see the current season out, and no disrespect to Man U and there fans but they really aren't an attractive outfit at the moment in my opinion so think he would be daft to go there. It each time their own I guess. And yes as long as the money is right and we’ll spent after then I wouldn’t mind, I’d love Bowen to stay the I must admit but I e been reading that Liverpool are I treated and a figure of £60m been mentioned, again it’s only rumours, but also read that we r Intrested In that barbossa or whatever he’s called again I hope not, he didn't want to come last time, and it also said if we did get him they would look to sell Bowen, makes no sense to me but rumours are rumours.

Btw been playing FM 22 lately, haven’t done it in a long time but just felt like giving it a run as used to help them with scouting many years ago. Ended up selling Rice to Liverpool for 120mill after two seasons and bought a few good players and now challenging in top 4. Liverpool are top though and after holding them for 70 mins at Anfield Rice banged a 25 yarder to break the deadlock before Salah got a brace. Now if Moyes can only do as well as me with the money ?

Ed, have you heard anything concrete, potential comings or going’s for that matter!

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what you mean by "concrete", if that is already agreed transfers in and out then no I am not aware of West Ham having already agreed to purchases or sales. They have looked at lots of players, but nothing has been agreed as far as I know.}

Hey there everybody. So Ragnick doesn't figure Lingard in his plans and we all know Moyes loves him so why have we not yet made a move for him? Or are we waiting till the end of the window I wonder?
