Rumours abound that Alvarez is about to sign for WHU, closely followed by Fofana. If true, that is excellent news. The other strong rumour is that the club are actively seeking an urgent replacement for Moyes. Fingers crossed on all three rumours. At last, something to celebrate.

Romano saying we've agreed terms with Alvarez he wants to come! Just up to the clubs to agree the fee now.

Apparently sullivan had called upon Barry Silkman to get a deal done for fofana, maybe it was actually Alvarez. If we managed to get both it would completely transform our team.

Just hope we don't mess about too much and get the deal hijacked.

I hope this is true guys, but I just can’t see why players would join when there’s speculation surrounding the managers position, or do they know something we don’t ?

I've thought the same stevie and if the manager has other preferred targets he could easily sabotage a deal in talks with the player but the same time this is why we have a director of football, to bring in players/managers that suit what the club want to do moving forward rather than chopping and changing with every manager that comes in, it's up to Steidten to sell that long vision to those players.

It seems as though sullivan has finally stepped in now and backed Steidtens targets

Seems ALVAREZ may be close and will be then followed by the GOONIES from MAN UTD which is abolsute waste of money. And I guarantee that if MOYES was not the manager we would be targetting younger cheaper options than these two has beens (well not so much Mctominay) but definitely MAGUIRE who will chase, even though he thinks he is to good for us

Watched ALVAREZ on youtube and looks ok a bit lacking in pace which you need a bit to play at C/DM, mind you he could play in goal or up front under DM any position bar the one he's best playing.?⚒?⚒?⚒
