I was concerned about all the media fuss about his wage demands, but it seems as though that’s been sorted.

He needs to understand that he’s coming into a very together squad and that he needs to prove himself.

Would he walk into the XI ahead of the current two incumbents?

I would how Diop feels.

I wouldn’t be upset if it was cancelled, zouma is not a bad player but he’s not a stand out addition.
I would rather use diop and give him more chances.

With oggy and Dawson over 30 they are going to struggle playing 2 games a week all year, we need another cb, Diop is ok as one but we do need another I think.

I wonder if Moyes sees Zouma as a more versatile player than he has has been used at Chelsea. As I don’t see why he would want to upset the Oggy / Dawson partnership
Just a thought.
