Common sense says Soucek adds nothing to the midfield, so if he can be sold soon, we might be able to put his transfer fee towards a decent midfielder who can contribute something. Hope he goes a bit tout suite.

Tin Legs, Soucek is one of the few players we have capable of heading the ball. I'd play him every game until we get 3 new CBs. JWP on the other hand should be paid off before we allow Rodriguez to leave and that should have happened yesterday.

Yes, Robbo, that is a worry. We’ve been linked with numerous midfielders, including one or two decent players, but it’s all come to nought. We should have started with pushing JWP, Soucek and Rodriguez out the door, and made the midfield a priority. With this board and manager, it’s impossible to say what will happen now, but it doesn’t change the fact that the above named three players are useless in our midfield as anyone with common sense can see. We have a major problem in that numerous players view WHU as a bad move, so it’s nearing the stage where things are decided by the toss of a coin and hoping someone will want to join us. Heads!

Many fans hated Moyes, I was not one of them. The club has been a total shambles since he’s gone. Everyone will prosper under his stewardship.

Soucek has to be kept. He’s our only goal threat from midfield - scored 9 last season. I don’t include Bowen as he’s more forward based.
