Is Brownhill joining on a free transfer, apparently he's just relocated to Essex ?

Apparently, He’s odds -on to be first signing, decent player, works hard, signing on fee, agreed , not known, could he sign next week? WH need to get moving, start getting people in

Yes, but not players of his standing. Isn’t he nearly 30? And although he’s not a bad player, what does he ADD to our midfield? Not a lot. If this is the calibre of player we are looking at, then this confirms we are downgrading.

Yes avoiding relegation on a budget is how it looks, WH are nowhere near psr problems etc, for me personally it looks like limited expenditure, semi appeasing manager, do enough to keep us out of trouble? No individual big player purchases, keep damage liability down, Potter needs to hit the ground running mid august, if he doesn’t, 8/10 games in goodbye, I understand an improved offer to top Spurs is going in next week for Walker Peters, but their in Europe now so puts WH up against it, makes it difficult, but length of contract wages and definite starter, could sway it? We shall see

From what I know about Brownhill he isn’t a bad player quite tenacious. But as stated by tin he is nearly 30 and we have all been saying we need to inject some pace into the midfield. Is he particularly fast? I don’t think so. So not sure this is a good start or not.

is Potter the right man? time will tell but atleast he's looking at academe players. WH were always had strong young players comming through but since Moyes it seems to me our youth are being ignored

Devon I would like to believe that and hope he does give the ones loaned out last season a chance to shine and not just loan them out again. He did give Scarles a chance, who, in his earlier games was excellent but the moment he had one bad game v Mo Salah he was dropped like a stone and not seen again until the last game of the season. Let’s hope he does as you say.
