I have to ask, if we need so many players and money is so tight, then why are we not using a bit of common sense and targetting players like JOTA SILVA, BOULEYE DIA etc etc etc. I just read that we are going back in with an IMPROVED BID for TOBIDO which makes no sense?

Do we not understand it when he says "I want to go to JUVE"?

This is all a delaying tactic by our board who will spread BS stories about us being interested in a player. If we really want to nuy these players, why hasn't JOTA SILVA been snapped up! It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever

Firstly I have been told there’s NO knowledge of an improved bid for Todibo , that’s at this morning, and WH know their not wanted, , WH are in a monetary weak position, without temporary injection, so doing what they think are priorities, Silva , obviously not wanted that much, IF a big IF, WH would have had the funds, then I suspect our transfer dealings., would have been 80% done by now, but we are where we are, Kretinsky could have solved this in 30 minutes, if he had wanted too, with one call and a Nod to Sullivan, , but he’s disappeared, , , to many in high places he is acting irresponsibly, and 50 m to him is peanuts, he’s worth more than 5billion! Sullivan , is being berated on here non stop, OK., but don’t lay everything at his door, FA charges, , nothing to do with Sullivan, neither is over valuation of players, he wants support from other shareholders in proportion, and he’s not getting it, at present, i'm no Sullivan supporter just telling what I have been told, Loppy knows the position, how he will react nobody knows, Steidten. So are we bidding for players in the knowledge that we know we have no chance of signing then because £30m for tobido and £30m for fofana and £35m for Duran doesn’t sound like we are short of funds, or are we just going through the motions and then.when we make progress we can say "we tried everybody". Is that why our deals drag on so they hope another team will come in. Just look at how the wan bissaka saga just drags on and on just like all our dealings!

This is Tim's first window without Moyes, and i doubt we would have had kudus, alvarez, mavropanos if it wasn't for him.

Tough window for a number of reasons as Joyful points out.

As for going for the likes of Todibo and Fofana I don't mind it at all, if the Italian clubs can't match our bid or come to an agreement with the selling clubs then their option is to either stay where they are or come to the prem and fight to get into Europe that way.

The same thing happened when newcastle wanted Botman he wanted to go to Milan they couldn't match what newcastle had offered Lille so botman went there and that season they qualified for champions league.

The offers are still on the table for both players so let's say Milan or juve decide to go for other targets then suddenly the player has a decision to make.
