I agree when I saw those 2 in midfield I thought Potter had lost it however having watched the first half it was apparent that we needed to keep it tight and slow the game down for the first 20 minutes to nullify the home crowd. Once we did that we have looked really quite good. I have to admit I have screamed at JWP on 3 occasions for going backwards when we’ve been on the front foot but the other 10 have played pretty well. Hermansen looks very assured

I did say I will try not to be too critical if we do badly in our first few games. But I have to say I didn’t expect us to end up with such a bad result.
I didn’t see the game but did hear the commentary on 5 live and Pat Nevin who is usually quite fair said we were dreadful and was very critical that the system wasn’t changed long before it was. Picking those two DMs is going to offer nothing and especially against a newly promoted side who we should be able to take the game to.
