Personally I"m not stressing too much about the lack of activity as apart from Kudus and number of people that have left we have not been weakened to any great degree. We all couldn't wait to see the back of Ings. Secondly and more importantly the lack of investment and interest from Sullivan and the board tells me they want out and sooner rather than later. They will spend as little as they can to keep us up and attempt to sell the club within 12 months .and that is a reason to be cheerful! Longer term to be rid of the poisonous little tosspot and his cronies is far more exciting than worrying about whether Slavia Pragues left back that non of us had heard of 3 weeks ago is going to Leeds instead! One last thing it would be foolish to try and sell a relegated club, Sullivan is not a fool .replacements will be acquired to ensure we're competitive

The problem is dabber we may have kept most of our first team atthe monent but potter couldn't get a tune out of them last year and now we literally have no cover, sullivan won't sell while he uses us as a cash cow and next summer we only really have one saleable asset which is bowen so the whole cycle will be repeated next summer with an ageing team that is another year older

Dabber your point isn’t a bad one but it is a sheer numbers game. It sounds like at the moment our squad is going to be in the high teens in number. We’ve been lucky the last few years as we haven’t had a major injury crisis . Having so few players is going to mean the same players playing over and over again which is going to lead to players only fit for the knackers yard. Just like Moyes did.
I’m sure we will get some players in but I fear they are going to be the usual crap that Sullivan gets from his agent and it’s going to be the crap ones who haven’t sold by late August .we need a minimum of 5 or 6 quality players in. If the kids come good then that would be great but we can’t rely or expect that

I believe this now to be the option for DS to sell up.
But with the zero interest in the DG shares. This has come as a shock to him personally.
DS race has been run.

DK has no further appetite to expand his WH shares, other shareholders are not willing to put up cash.
The club is being navigated poorly because nobody on the board has the buzz or desire anymore.

There will be a right buyer for WH but the price needs to be lowered, and all shares must be put up.

The point is any future without these owners is better than the nearfuture with them. Whatever way you want to look at it we are nearing the end of their tenure
Sullivan will not want to have to sell it cheap because of relegation therefore will either invest in more players or (as I’m sure a lot of you will be happy with) cut Potter loose and hire a manager he feels more confidentially will keep us up. Ultimately we’ll be fine COYI

It could just be incompetence and delusion that they think they can keep us in the prem without investing.

It seems like all the other clubs are well run, ambitious or both we are neither.

I hope you're right Dabber I just think there us more evidence of incompetence than there is that they want to sell

Iron Al they certainly do business as if they’re wheeling and dealing at Peckham market but you don’t make the millions they’ve all made by being incompetent. The dead give away that they are looking to sell is the act of selling Kudus to and dealing with Spurs for the first time in 14 years ….
