STEIDTEN as. You are all aware by now, our acclaimed transfer genius, is no longer in his role at WH, the logic involved, around him I never understood, Tim made his name, and great credit to him, by scouting for Leverkusen! Or Neverkusen as the were known in Germany, a mediocre side, always the bridesmaids. Never the bride, as a complete unknown his nous and luck allowed him to source best part of a team for small money, which turned Leverkusen into a powerhouse, he received great acclaim and payment for his work, and quite rightly so BUT BUT Leverkusen knew he couldn't repeat those feats, like Leicester could not repeat their premiership win, Manchester United, thought about him as did Spurs and declined , Sullivan however, thought it was gold at the rainbows end, if Tim had gone to say Wrexham, where the have money, he would definitely get them into the championship, but at WH the serial underachievers, The Spotlight is too intense, the fans and media attention too strong, he needed to get 9/10 minimum he failed, he was given too much responsibility too quickly, he has been demoted now, but likely he will be gone soon, Sullivan got it all wrong with him and the manager, he never listens to football people, that's why we are in trouble, and until he starts listening to those people, this wholesale mess will continue

With Sullivan and Brady at the helm we are never going to go anywhere it is like Groundhog Day. He will eventually sack this guy and then bring in another manager that is unpopular with a broad majority of our fans and then the cycle starts again and then we start getting the careful what you wish for brigade piping up. Nobody that I know of wanted Loppy, many of us signed a petition for it to be noted that we didn’t want him. The only people he will listen to is his preferred agents as it’s all about trying to get things on the cheap. I don’t think TS has done a fantastic job and should shoulder some responsibility for not getting a decent striker and maybe more damning getting in generally slow and not too young players. I also feel he has undermined the coach a bit which is always unprofessional. Having said all that he is the least to blame in this whole shambles. He has brought in a number of decent players who under a different coach may well perform much better. And he was left a near impossible task by the previous manager who left us in a dreadful state.
If he does go I hope opens the lid on the septic tank that is our boardroom I hope they all sell up and somehow a consortium similar to Bournemouth Brighton or Brentford take over. Sadly that is very unlikely

I wonder if Steidten is the problem. Moyes banned him from the training ground, and now it's been written that he is not attending the training ground to help Loptty. I wonder if he is a person who interferes and likes to be heard?

Wow, say it as it is everybody. As of today LOP is now not expected to be the West Ham manager when Fulham come to town.

It's easy for us all to point fingers of blame but at the end of the day, the buck stops with Sullivan and his minions. Too many times the fans have shouted out loud about the goings on at this club only for it to fall on deaf ears.

Which brings us to where we are now. A lot of money spent in summer on poor recruitment. Teams doing well in the Premier league are young, energetic pacey teams. The days of the tall gangly centre forward and lumbering midfielders are over. Teams who have fast transition of play succeed and that hasn't been us for years.

Sullivan and Co have time and again had the chance to recruit decent managers but they all too often listen to Salthouse and Co. POTTER, CONCECAO, FONSECA to name but a few who are all quality managers. Look when we recruited pellegrini or Avram Grant, Glenn refer. All disasters because we never take the time to invest in a managers future and without the managers position being stable, how can we possibly succeed?
