Again we struggle against a side that closed us down quickly and denied us space, time and time again in the first half, they went through us with ease and if we are all honest Sunderland should have had 1 or 2 more goals. Apart from being shut down and denied space, I believe the main problem is no one sitting in front of the back 4, we look so much stronger when Kouyate sits in that hole and breaks up play and then passes / brings the ball out, yesterday he strayed up field and the same with Noble leaving Tomkins & Reid exposed time and time again. Down to 10 men, they stopped coming down the middle and closing us down and we then started playing our football and in the end we should have won.

Agreed Gerry, I am worried about Noble, as much as I love the guys commitment to WH he just ain't good enough any more, the better players around him are making him look very unconvincing and he makes far too many mistakes in crucial areas of the field. It hurts to say it, but he's got to be replaced by someone better.

Can't wait for Song to be back, we've yet to see Antonio, then we've got Obiang, I can really see Noble getting dropped, I know he makes tackles and the stats show he's actually doing ok out there, but now we've got a Team that can perform on a higher plane and we have to see how high can they go (hope we've not peaked!)

I've highlighted a no of noble,s performances over a few seasons back then the responses I got were he is Mr claret n blue .
We are spoiled in the postion of dm with kouyate song Oxford obiang and poyet on loan if he performances don't improve should we look to cash in on him
