Wat can l say not only a loss vs a lowly stoke but 2 weeks in a row NO GOALS this is west ham why do we leave it till the last couple of days to try and get the left over players, players that we want have probably will choose either other clubs or would nt want to come to our club cause we play with one striker, lm not negative its the truth let's get rid of the players that no longer, whos the players that we get rid of with 2 days remaining doesn't give enough days to sell then to buy, so frustrated

I'm not happy with the loss but I think we needed that to open the owners eyes we all new we need at least one more striker its a joke that they left it this late

Well we can't say that it was going to happen. How can we have such an unbalanced squad? You cannot have nor rely on one striker to get you through the EPL season. We have to beat teams like stoke if we are going to avoid a relegation scrap. With two days to go surely we need at least 2 strikers and move at least 5 out.
It could be an interesting next few days for us hammer fans otherwise it will be a long hard season until Jan window opens again.

Cannot believe our only fit striker is maiga. Today he was shocking, couldn't do anything right. I was there wishing we had crouchy or kenwyne jones. Can't wait for Carroll to be fit again then the line-up will be more balanced.

What an absolute joke! I'm a hammer through and through, but why the f**k are we playing an 18 year old inexperienced Lee? Maiga is the worst striker in the league! BFS should learn from last season that we need an EXPERIENCED striker. Downing was trash today, and Nolan? He was never in the game! Thank god for Our back four because without them we would have been slaughtered.

You have got it spot on. maiga is useless but then so was half the team. I said before the season all teams mid table have strengthened except us. Stoke gave us the runaround. and deserved to win. if we had a decent striker we might still have knicked an undeserved point. its nearly too late now to get the two strikers we desperately need. we have to do something this was poor totally poor. the target was 11 points first six games before they played top team. on todays performance well need a total rethink

So to stop the confusion I agree with the above posts we do need at least 2 strikers, however now surly people must see Noble is not up to, I don't wanna hear anymore how "hes 1 of us" or "he gives it he's all". NO! this just don't cut it in the prem, I wish all the players that play in the Claret & Blue had he's passion but enough is enough. While you at it can someone tell BFS that he don't need to wait till the last 20mins to try to change it up or that he's fat friend Nolan can be replaced if like today he's having a stinker. that's it rant done. COYI!!

Maiga has had his chance now and if his pre-season and three shocking EPL performances upfront does not convince BFS that he is not good enough, then I don't know what will. Even in pre-season I would have had RVT and even McCallum ahead of him. It makes it worse that RVT has put in a transfer request leaving us just AC who is injured.
I would personally drive Maiga anywhere on deadline day if it gave us a chance to get another striker.
In BFS and the two Davids we must trust.
