I've been reading all your posts which agree with mine, sometime ago, I said there will be a problem when Carroll is eventually fit, well he is and there is! We are all agreed he only has a use as asub IF we want to play football, SB and MR Gold are talking him up there is a reason for this, originally to give, the player confidence after injury, and secondly to get shot of him to someone else, Mr Gold is very keen to say goodbye to him as I have stated many times before to the annoyance of some of our fans, It may well be that Newcastle or Sunderland become interested or he might be lured to foreign climes, whichever I do not think his long term future is at west ham UNLESS there is a radical change to his style, which as far as I am concerned is impossible, as he is what's he is, IF he is prepared to stay on and be used sparingly fine, BUT I think he will want to start, and that's not the way forward, It was obvious SB was going to try it at some stage, well he has, and it was disastrous, I personally would be happy to let him go, and spend the money elsewhere IRONMIKE.

It's catch 22 Mike no one will buy if he ain't playing regular I think Carroll would be better of in a 4411 with zarate behind him only one dm sahko is our no1 striker he brings different qualities to the tables on and off the ball.
James Tomkins said in a report that they struggled against 2 strikers which is a bit concerning.
Surely when we are training we would try different formations out.

Yes and No, Carroll will be attractive to somebody for sure, particularly, if wh can afford to let him go at a discounted price, and, it could happen, we will have to see what happens. to that end. SB has afew people on his wish list, to further improve the squad. Which is a necessity, apart from Collins and obrien whos contracts are expiring. , a couple of others may be sold, to make lots of room for incomings. Carroll has to be a likely candidate, IRONMIKE.

Poor planning by the DGS, as he's 2 years into a 6 year deal. On mega wages, no doubt Big Sam was saying get me him and I'll guarantee we don't go down, so I can get why they signed him. we'll probably just need to keep him on the bench, impact sub, and hopefully he'll put a transfer request himself.
He must not get injured again. We've had him 3 years and it's always been he's just about to come good. and then he gets injured. Too many false promises and he don't fit this Bilic Way. Payet said, I can't play looking into the sky and we ended up doing exactly that on Saturday, which might be fine last 30 minutes if we're chasing the game, but definitely not 90. No wonder our top player went straight off on Saturday, he don't like it. Reckon a striker coming Jan.
It actually annoys me all the Carroll stories about his lack of interest in the game etc, we must have seen in the loan season, on top of the permanent injuries, and the bad goal return, it would have been much better to return him to Liverpool back then. The DGS were right, get Bony, we missed out, thks Big Sam.
Its really annoying as well that Spurs won and have passed us on top of everything else. Villa really made a match of it last 10 minutes, but couldn't quite equalise, big shame.

As I said in a recent post, SB has been set a 60 point target, for this season, we must concentrate on how we are doing. Not worry at this stage. About others around us who for the time being have bigger and better quality squads than us, wh have to improve in stages, we cannot do it in one season, a top eight finish, would be seen as afantastic improvement this year, anything above that one hell of a bonus, Over the next two windows, more quality has to be added, and it will be, it's becoming quite clear that a few positions are well short, IRONMIKE.

Carroll HAS to go, Simples!
Yeah, I know we're all having a go about him after he had one bad game, but that bad game was very winnable and he NO LONGER fits with the players we've brought in like Payet and Lanzini who want the ball on the floor. Either he makes way or Payet and Lanzini do!
