Apparently were only getting 2 more players and one of them is song who's out for few months. I don't think that's enough, don't know if any agrees I think we need atleast 3/4.

Just read that Wh say that there is no truth in the rumours concerning Austin for Jarvis plus cash. HOW CAN THIS BE?? We want rid of Jarvis and are in desperate need of a proven striker. This is painful to watch, Mark my words if we don't act now not only will we lose a very good (English) talent to 1 of our rivals, but also no doubt he will hit 3/4 past us when we meet him in the league!!

You should know by now not to believe all you read in the papers, who in their right minds would buy Jarvis. Nolan and maiga, they couldn't get in my pub team, IF west ham manage to pull off the austin deal to include any oif these players, it would mean wh have paid them off to conclude the deal, that's it in black and white, trust all is clear, regards IRONMIKE

Just watched the werder breman match got to say very impressed with payet lanzini looked good too . who's going to play rb against arsenal any ideas?

02 Aug 2015 13:43:12
Ironmike do you think West Ham United will have a new forward signed in time to play against Arsenal. Who would your money be on to come to play for the Hammers. Sow, Hernandez, Austin. Not Jiminez. Mr Gold if your reading this please sign a decent striker before season starts

HI bbn, Impossible to answer this latest is bahebeck, could be avery cheap plausible option, however, although I like chicharito, I think I would go for a big player, like sow or possibly austin, as if you have only lightweights up front, there is no option to switch tactics IRONMIKE

Dear Gerry, Pato is areal risk, he's like Osvaldo, carouser womaniser, gambler and a drunk other than that he's great, also haven't we had enough of these people already, he's Morrison with another name, that's why he's cheap, that's why no one is rushing in for him, and he has been offered to every middle of the table prem club, regards IRONMIKE

Hi Mike, thank you for your explanation, yes we have had enough of these people but what's the alternative, Austin at 15M after one season in the Prem! Not saying he is but remember Michael Ricketts or Andy Johnson anyone

Hi Chaps
Be interested in views on how we will approach Thursday game bearing in mind Arsenal following Sunday. Do we play our present first choice players to try advance further into Europa and juggle or keep same side for Sunday or do we concentrate on the Arsenal match and Thursday game is a cross fingers hopefully get through rather than a must going through.
Obviously we were all hoping to have a nice cushion for Thursday which is not the case, personally feel this is the worst time for us to be in this Europa comp, bearing in mind new manager, trying to move forward building a stronger squad to compete and obviously the need to stay in PL for our move. I would not be to upset if we did not advance in EL, and concentrate solely on our domestic league and cups.

Strongest available team in both . hope Reid and obiang are back ready for arsenal game

If Iron Mike is correct in yesterday's post concerning Charlie A going Newcastle, in my humble opinion I'm gutted. Having followed everyone comments concerning just about every striker on earth we are meant to be linked with for the life of me, I can't understand why we have not signed CA. he has proven that he can score goals in PL even with a struggling team, why are we taking risks with foreign players with no PL experience when we have someone on our doorstep, albeit for £15 mill. I'm sure the finances can be juggled. Even though £15 mill may be seen to be over priced slightly I would rather spend on a proven PL goal scorer than spend £10 mill on a player with no PL experience at all, it's a no brainier in my view. We need a striker and £15 mill is not in my view a lot for a proven goal scorer, which is what we desperately need. Am I missing something why as it seems Austin is not being signed?

We are not football experts, if we were we wouldn't be writing on here, I obviously don't know but maybe he is being seen as a one season wonder as he has only has the single season in the top flight.
At 15 mil I think he is vastly over priced, maybe that's the reason. Anyone else?

Leicester agreed a deal for gokhan inler??

why are west ham not on this? he is a ridiculously good player!!

Getting left behind in the transfer market by the likes of Leicester, what does that remind me of. Oh that's right the last couple of seasons. Please don't get me wrong I am quite happy with what we have got do far,but we needed a front man to begin with now Valencia is out for God knows how long, and yet again we seem to be penny pinching or want to take a risk on a total unknown to the Prem league. GO GET AUSTIN!!
