I'll be honest I am losing track of the number of players West Ham seem to be linked with.

I personally don't understand the Moussa Sow connection. Why pay £12 million for a player with no top European league experience. It runs a significant risk (he has only even played in France and Turkey). He is 30 years old and isn't getting any younger. Granted, his scoring record in Turkey is impressive, as it was in France where he scored 31 goals in 54 league games but I point the finger at Modibo Maiga. He too had an impressive scoring record in France.

If we are going to spend £12 million of a player that predominantly plays as a left sided forward, why not go for someone young like Shaqiri or someone with a proven Premier League record like Mirallas?

At this point it is worth mentioning, Schalke are still trying to get rid of Sidney Sam and Kevin-Prince Boateng. Both would be available on the cheap, have European experience and are creative midfield players.

I agree wingers are needed, as is a striker so here are a couple of players that could be available for £12 million who I think are worth mentioning (although this is all opinion, not necessarily players we are after to my knowledge).

HI d4' I am familiar with all the players on your list except the final one, don't know much about narsingh, Shaqiri I am astonished wh have NEVER shown any interest, Ntep, two bids went down, he only wants champions league teams, But do they need him,? Valentin stocker, is well known by SB, but no interest Ola john one bid never went back, Gokhan Tore, lots of interest for athletico and man united, inter, he's not coming to wh unfortunately Thauvin has been besieged by Newcastle NO no no was the answer! no interest from wh Musa wants to stay at cska, and mirallas, is semi current, I remember when people used to argue with me over just how many players where being watched. And listed as maybes ,it seems now everyone understands it's many, very many, regards IRONMIKE
