I think its fairly clear that whilst the team is doing really well considering what we have available we desperatley need to invest in a striker who can score goals and lots of them. Never mind short term stop gap deals for Petric (who I think could be a great addition given a chance) and Carlton COle (who simply isn;t premier league quality). Also forget about "SICK NOTE" Carroll who quite clearly doesn;t want to play for us. We need a Jordan Rhodes esq type striker who if you give him the ball around the box will work the keeper 9 times out of 10
If we are going to pay out 8 mill plus would prefer luc remy we are not in a postion to go after rhodes unless we offer maiga plus cash.
the more players you offer the more complicated it gets.
so unless we shift some dead wood don't expect to many changes.

bring in remy and look to bring in rhodes in the summer.
so you would have carroll/remy/rhodes as the main striker/s every where else we look ok maybe cover at rb i'm hearing seymour from the youngsters is one to watch bkkhammer
TOtally agree. I reckon if we could get Remy in January and Rhodes in the summer we'd have quite a formidable front line and even without Carroll we could start posing a threat to bigger clubs {Ed039's Note - Remy is on a season long loan at Newcastle so there is no chance of that happening)
Why are we not playing petric
Petric must be injured because he was not even on the bench for the swansea game and maiga was on the bench.
it means c/c should have a run of games to prove that he is worth another short term contract.
If only we had a fit striker that can score :- (
DEFOE would be a great shout but not sure we can forgive the turn coat
