It's a wonder we have been linked with Juan Mata we ain't buying anyone because BFS is stubborn and the Dave's are deluded

i think the following says it all:

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has issued a rallying cry to supporters as the club battles to avoid relegation from the Premier League (basically because nobody turned up last night and they can't afford it).

The Hammers are currently one point adrift of safety in the table thanks to six defeats from their last nine games.

However, Gold has called on fans to get behind the team for the remaining few months of the season (this is because only 14,000 turned up last night which is the lowest gate for years and not sustainable by the board).

"This is a low point in the history of our great club, " he tweeted. "We must re-group and prepare ourselves for a tough relegation battle, players are returning from injury and together we can survive. " (not with the current manager we can't)

West Ham continue their fight for Premier League survival on next Wednesday when they make the trip to London rivals Chelsea.

Stay away hurt them in the pocket then they will listen.

Even though many fans stayed away from the citte game most of the tickets were already purchased.
have to agree a boycott of a game sends a clear message to the board this ain't good enough. step up g/s don't try and run West Ham United on the budget of a giro

The only way Gold and Sullivan will act and do anything is if the fans stay away and until then they are not interested.

Hence why Gold has come out and said the fans must get behind the team during one of the lowest periods in the clubs history.

Its because of them and Sam that we are in this state so until they do something about it I have ahd enough and will not be going

Its fairly obvious that nobody is going to be brought in this window and West Ham are quite clearly a club in crisis. Even BFS has admitted "He has no idea who is being targetted"!

No heart in the team coupled with a lack of passion saw one of the lowest Carling CUp Semi FInal attendances at Upton park last night with only 14,000 turning out.

West Ham are a club in turmoil and the only way out of this is to remove Sam from office.

They are unable to attarct new players worth any quality and news that Belfodil has chosen QPR to West Ham also re-iterates the plight

Why not an Allardyce out protest next home game. We have to do something, this is farsical

Sounds like a plan. the board are in a panic because of the low attendance last night. all I can say is that I am making it known how I feel with my feet and I have had enough and last night was the last straw

What is he supposed to do with those injuries and limited funds? And he's been let down by Nolan.

I don;t care. He was supposed to prespre us to have a SQUAD THAT CAN COMPETE and clearly no strength on depth

After hearing Avram Allardyce after the game I after all these years am dumbfounded by the whole management have they no shame is their no honour of any kind basically we are fielding a team of donkeys against racehorses they are now COLLECTIVELY bringing shame to our club 0-9 aggregate is a disgrace whichever way you want to look at it. The time to buy graziano pelle or finbogussan from Holland is past (for the time being at least) we need to look at every position not just get a couple of loans to use like polyfilla in a wall. Who can you make a case to keep Reid noble Tompkins and Collins possibly carroll cole and Adrian that's 7 all the rest including Morrison shunt them all out let's get back to basics we cannot possibly get 22 points in 16 games to stay up 36 points might keep someone up but its unfortunately unlikely to be us Even if we manage an escape wholesale investment is going to be needed end of season at this time we cannot compete against the top 20 clubs let alone the top 4. As akid I watched us lose 2-8 to Blackburn at home on aboxing day on jan ist we won 3-1 at ewood park honour was saved. now we just lurch from crisis to crisis not knowing where to start or finish every team has injuries and suspensions but they have proper cover that's a squad

I must be honest i'm gratefull for all the humour on this site shown by the fans after watching the latest interview with avram allardyce However as a fan of many years where is the honour where is the pride we are fielding donkeys against racehorses all we hear is further soppy loans like polyfilla on awet wall what's the point we cannot compete with the top 20 let alone the top 4 Who would you keep Reid noble perhaps Collins Tompkins carroll and Adrian so we need 14 players mr allardyce how many of our players would get into another pl team one two perhaps that's it that's the measure of the problem as akid I watched us lose one boxing day 2-8 to Blackburn but at least we won 3-1 on jan 1st at ewood park pundits are quoting 36 points may do the escape trick maybe but can you see us getting 18 points from 16 games don't think so we have Chelsea arsenal mcity being final fixture at Etihad There are a few groups interested in West Ham United especially at Olympic stadium the daves don't want to invest any more serious money they are rich men but not in football terms these days either bring in investors and dilute your shareholdings or call it a day altogether we need change at all levels not just on playing field IRONMIKE

Antonio Nocerino being allowed to move on loan or perm and reports saying he prefers a move to England. We are guaranteed to offer a loan deal where West Brom are in for his signature too apparently and its obvious what's going to happen here!

I think if the board are going to persevere with Sam then he needs to start by getting rid of the dead wood not interested in playing for us. Diarra, DIame, Maiga and Morrison can all go and let's get the squad boosted with a few fresh faces.

I hear We are in advanced talks with Graziano Pelle which would be a very positive start

Morrison was superb last night - we have to keep hold of him and pay him what he's worth.

Disagree totally with Diame and Morrison, if not for football reasons, for business.

How can you say let Diame go? He is one of the hardest working players on the pitch. His form is a little hit and miss but we have no current replacement for his position so why get rid of him?

Morrison, yeh just let him go for £4m to Fulham right? How can that possibly make sense? Yes his attitude is poor, but he is the most talented player in our squad, who will be worth a lot more than £4m next season if he continues improving and working hard on his football. Take £4m now and get relegated over Fulham or hold on and flog him for £10m in the summer?

The real dead wood are players like George McCartney and Modibo Maiga, these need to go before we think about any others!

Lets forget about Chelsea next week, hardly guaranteed to pick up points against them, although never say never!

After that game we will most certainly be rock bottom, probably with Cardiff as Sunderland may nick a point at Stoke.

Its the run of three winnable games after Chelsea that will determine our fate. Norwich, Villa and Swansea. Then a couple of tricky ones at Soton and Everton. But then Hull and Stoke which again are winnable. I just hope that we have Collins and Reid back by these winnable games! Ideally Lescott to join Reid which will almost certainly result in a fair few clean sheets at the easier games listed above. Then all we need is to nick a goal in each to secure some much needed 3 pointers. After 2 or 3 wins from these we would be on the way to survival. Without at least 2 points a game average i'm afraid to say its bye bye west ham, we will hit the championship and lose all our key players, about £60m in annual revenue and it could take a real turn for the worse in the sense we may not come back up!

Get Reidy back fit asap, bring Lescott in until end of season by slapping him with 100k p/week and get Downing / Jarvis whipping those crosses into big Andy! COYI!
