How about Big Sam move in for him and make him a hammer again. He did well for us beofre his move to Man City and could do it again. proven premiership player and in my mind a good signing and will score goals.
I wouldn't want him back...good player or not. we nursed him through his injuries when he was with us...paid his wages...he played a dozen games for us after months out and as soon as Man City were interested..me made it clear he wanted to leave the hammers...hes a mercenary and a selfish so and so....let him rot in someones reserves !
Why would you want someone back after the forced through a move to get out of a club not saying he aint good player his loyalty is to the pound note ,,,,,pass

Sam you really should stand down if you can't produce one decent signing in the next week
Not SAMs fault, it's the owners won't pay the wages .the managers hands are tied.
And who do we bring in if we sack sam. people need to be realistic we are not a big club.We should be yes but we are not.And we can not carry on spending money we dont have.This is why our young players are leaving we do not have the luxury of paying them there wages and sit in the reseves for 3-4 years.If they are exceptional like tomkins they will get what they deseve.But players like sears we cannot afford to carry in the hope he makes the step up.Sam will do the job requested of him.He got us up now he can help us consolidate.During this time the board must be left alone to do what they said they would reduce the debt and look for good solid investors.other wise we will be the next newco starting out in league 2.
