Why are our money men not giving Rice a new contract, can't they see this boys potential. Give him £80k a week and he is going to be that good bring back the number 6 shirt and give it to him. Bobby Moore would be pleased to see someone with such qualities wear his shirt.

Hammer Man, this has to be the most discussed subgest on this site? I cannot believe behind the scenes this must have been sorted one way or another? Rice could easily have said to the board, “up yours, I’m off” and the club are keeping it quiet, although I don’t believe that could happen without the press or someone leaking that story, or it has all been favourably sorted out for him to stay. Either way, Rice will be the winner and rightly so. there can only be one loser here and that’s our club and its fans! I hesitate to think what the fans reactions will be if another London club come in for him and he goes and who could blame him when we have the likes of Hernandez, Carroll, Wiltshire, who have made as good as no contribution to the club at all, drawing astronomical wages, it would give me the right efffing hump as it would most people!

The main interest in Rice at the moment is from Man United, they may try a bid. Soon. IRONMIKE.

Are our owners deliberately trying to test Rice's resolve and commitment to the club? It would be easy for a player's head to be turned by Man Utd.

{Ed002's Note - Why the sudden blame culture.}

Having been Rice's biggest fan for the last 2 years I would hate to lose him can see him being another Michael Carrick and we all know what happened their

If anyone at the club reads this page I think you all should ask yourselves "why haven't we locked down a new contract" come on guys wise up.
