Hi Ironmike I wonder if you could clarify something for me. Was Reece Oxford loaned out because Moyes does not think he is good enough or is it because Oxford simply did not want to be here?
On another note, why is Hugill not getting any game time whatsoever or is he simply been deemed not good enough?

1.) 22 Mar 2018 16:42:23
HURGILL started yesterday against DAGENHAM he scored but apparently didn't perform well and isn't PREMIERSHIP STANDARD me personally think he's being judged on 15 min of substitute cameos but it stinks of a panic buy to shut the fans up otherwise with our injurys he'd have started by now and they won't get their money back on him but if we get relegated perhaps he will perform in the championship which he belongs and was probably brought for. COYI.

14 Feb 2018 07:55:44
Hi mike, do you think the fact Hernandez is playing and scoring might change Moyes' opinion on him? Or is he still likely to leave in the summer?

1.) 14 Feb 2018 09:11:46
Could be kissy and make up time we shall have to wait a while longer yet IRONMIKE A.

2.) 19 Feb 2018 10:38:59
How true MIKE is the rumour that BAMBA is going to sign a pre contract agreement from st etienne a 21 year old striker. COYI.

30 Jan 2018 12:46:36
Any news regarding Schurrle? I heard West Brom are now interested? I would think he would be a good signing or have we just gone cold on this one?

1.) 30 Jan 2018 13:08:26
It's obvious we were never in for any of them, if we are guzumped by Albion and even Watford now.

2.) 30 Jan 2018 13:11:51
Like 99% of the transfers we are linked with.
We enquire to make it look like we're interested just to keep the fans hapoy. When the other team say we can buy the player and name the price Rodney and Delboy stick their fingers in the ears and sing LA LA LA really loudly until someone else buys said player.

23 Jan 2018 09:38:16
Hi Mike, sorry as I may be asking a question you have already answered. Why exactly are West Ham keen to sell Ayew in January? I understand getting Sakho out of the club but I have always thought that, while Ayew has not set the world alight, he does at least give 100% every time he plays which is more than can be said for a fair few of our players. Or is this to do with the wages he is on?

1.) 23 Jan 2018 11:41:39
I have been watching Ayew play football for a year and he doesn't have any of the basics; no close control, doesn't know when to pass versus shoot, never marks anyone, pretends to run but he is just going through the motions, no awareness of other players on the pitch (of either side! ) ; yes he tries but so would my nan - so we have a 20 Million pound headless chicken, that's why!

2.) 23 Jan 2018 17:03:06
Not awkward mate, Moyes doesn’t rate him that’s it in a nutshell IRONMIKE.

22 Jan 2018 16:22:19
Hi Mike, I wonder if you could update us on the situation with Andre Schurlle, have we gone cold on him now? I would have thought he would be a really good addition even if just on loan.

1.) 22 Jan 2018 18:17:16
Hi, as you can appreciate WH need to unload Ayew and Sakho if possible, and with Carroll out again until April, we will have to bring someone in up front, at this time Shurrle has had a few offers, it’s remains a Maybe IRONMIKE.

The big worry for West Ham right now is, can you see 3 worse teams than us?

1.) 06 Feb 2018 11:26:10
Hi WH4, well there Huddersfield, and er er er er er er er er er,

Once Arnie is back and Antonio along with Mario we have just a chance as any of rthe teams down there, as long as Moyes still has the heart to care about us staying up if reports are correct his leaving.

Im hoping his on a big bonus to keep us up and along with his reputation that needs repairing I think we will be OK.

But the worrying thing is Swansea are getting their act together, WBA although a little adrift can produce under Pardew, I think Huddersfield are on the slippery slope but the other 2 positions are any one guess, I just hope we have enough as mentioned above.

2.) 06 Feb 2018 13:07:43
Entirely agree Warrington and not much more to add, can now see the point in not selling to relegation rival, we’ve done Swansea a right favour with their 2 long term injuries. On the lighter side bit surprised Ed’s and Mike didn’t know the last time DGS paid to watch as W. H. Fans, 😂😂think it could be when they put in millions££ to take control, expensive season tickets to watch a team face possible relegation.

3.) 06 Feb 2018 13:07:43

4.) 06 Feb 2018 13:10:57
Ps, think Moyes shouldn’t have commented on leaving regardless of our position, not good for morale for those players that are responding to him!

5.) 06 Feb 2018 13:21:29
No he should not, I fear it could further destabilize us. What is the betting that Andre Ayew scores against us when we play Swansea.

6.) 06 Feb 2018 13:23:39
The big issue is IF we survive it won't be because we have played well it will be, yet again, because there are more than 3 teams who are not good enough for this league. In my opinion this relegation race is so tight because we have 11 teams in the premier league who have been extremely poor and based on this season are not good enough.

7.) 06 Feb 2018 13:24:57
You can dress it up as much as you want but the simple truth is we shouldn't being this position with the players we got I understand we've had injury's but so have other clubs you have to rise above that but to get beat 6-1 on aggregate to BRIGHTON isn't good enough we have a team good enough to beat this and the salary some of our players are on they just haven't confirmed that salary with consitant performances and that's wrong so the players we have and are stuck with have to perform plain and simple the only people we have to blame if we are relagation is 1 the players,2 the main reason is THE TROTTERS FACT, THEY HAVE PUT WEST HAM IN A VERY PRECARIOUS PLACE AND THE QUICKER THEY ARE GONE THE BETTER. COYI.

8.) 06 Feb 2018 13:54:26
Could be WH4 that's the 11 teams in question are of equal standings,

I just looked at our fixtures, and I can only see us getting 10 more points and i'm serious, I hope i'm totally off the mark, but in general for me its 10 points, will 37 be enough?

9.) 06 Feb 2018 14:30:40
Oh I agree I think they are, but I also think the likes of Wolves would put all 11 to the sword.
I am very fearful of relegation, I think this game against watford will be a good indicator.

10.) 07 Feb 2018 10:46:22
I don't believe in 6 month contracts all that points to SULLIVAN PLAYING SAFE YET AGAIN.

01 Feb 2018 07:04:01
I for one am seriously concerned for the rest of the season. We have nobly mario and kouyate to cover midfield till the end of the season. I for one see zero logic in selling Ayew to a rival mid season if you are not going to reinvest the money. With such a small squad getting rid of him is baffling, he would at the very least done a job till the summer but instead he has strengthened Swansea and we are weaker. What happens if Noble gets injured? We won't have a midfield. Personally extremely worried.

20 Nov 2017 09:06:35
I think the big problem here is, where can anyone realistically see us picking up points? Can anyone actually name me three teams that are currently worse than us? Crystal Palace certainly aren’t, maybe Swansea? Maybe West Brom? Maybe Everton? But I am really scraping the barrel with those three. Where are we going to pick up points, I worry for when we play Leicester because of our lack of pace will be horrible exploited again.
Looking at yesterday’s game, it was an all too familiar story and while Moyes doesn’t fill me with optimism I am not going to jump on him immediately as he has only had two weeks (I think everyone on here agrees that in reality the board should take a large chunk or responsibility for this situation and I think Bilic was simply hung out to dry by them) . I can look at the game from a point of view and say that Watford’s second goal probably shouldn’t have stood and we had three or four fantastic chances and missed them all, world class save or not the keeper should not be given a chance for 5 yards. In reality we didn’t deserve to get anything from that game, it’s amazing how good a team can look when they aren’t closed down or challenged, even a Sunday league team can be made to look like Barcelona if you let them just pass it around without a challenge. My point here is that it is far too easy for teams to beat us or outplay us when we don’t seem to show any fight or work rate. I do appreciate that we were missing Antonio, Ayew and Hernandez but our midfield three was a concerning lapse and lazy attitude, careless errors over and over (and personally I am a big fan of Obiang but none of the midfield three played well yesterday) .
Rant over, I will continue to hope to see improvements, apologies if anyone disagrees but sometimes you just need to vent!

1.) 20 Nov 2017 11:50:26
Thanks WH4EVER for saving me from saying your exact words what does everybody think of HART he's glued to his line I thought a keeper was supposed to come for corners and crosses that's the advantage of using your hands and come off your line to narrow down the angles he should have saved the second goal and the save he made was not a great save it was expected to be saved from a so called WORLD CLASS KEEPER ( NOT FOR ME ADRIAN IS AS GOOD AS HIM) .

2.) 20 Nov 2017 14:14:04
Thank you Gkg, at least I am on the same wave length as someone!
I think Hart probably should have saved the second goal and I think if you pay the wages that reportedly we are paying you would maybe expect a better goalkeeper. Is he really better than Adrian? In reality I would say there is very little in it.
I don't think however Hart is the problem in our team, he was arguably our best player against Crystal Palace and we would have lost that game if not for him. I think if we want to be pointing fingers at under performing players then he is not top of my list. The players in front of him are leaving him exposed time and again, I mean how many times do we see Hart being forced into making one on one saves or the opponent getting a free header from a corner/ free-kick. Could he come and claim some of these? Yes he probably could but I also feel if you are being subjected to that many shots per game chances are mistakes will be made, just look at Jordan Pickford at Everton no doubt a perfectly solid goalkeeper but faces so many shots per game that its inevitable that he will make a couple of errors.
So in summary I would not have signed a new goalkeeper as our No.1 unless it was a subtantial improvement on Adrian and I don't think many would say Hart is that, but at least he appears to be trying and at least he actually seems to have some fire about him which is more than can be said about many of the 11 out there yesterday. There are other players in the firing line for blame if you ask me, top of that list is Carroll (extremely fortunate to not be sent off yesterday) .

3.) 21 Nov 2017 17:55:59
Spot on WH4EVER the first two I'd out his CARROLL AND NOBLE Carroll isn't as good in the air as people think especially against same height as him count how many clear headers he won he didn't win many and a couple of balls he played under pressure out on the left to the back four ( nowhere near anybody ) wasn't even a footballers ball like something you'd see from a pub player he has to be sold from brainwashed managers that rate him we could get decent money although I'd rate him at 6-8 mill and that's it NOBLE well I ain't going there WHUEVER everybody download the second half especially and watch him he looked like a three legged dog chasing a fly his head was like one of those nodding dogs you put on your parcel shelf of car just jogging around chasing shadows PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, everybody watch it back it's CRIMINAL he's EARNING THAT MONEY NOW AT LEAST DICK TURPIN WORE A MASK.

31 Aug 2017 20:23:33
Crystal Palace recognised they needed players and looks like they are spending the money required to try and address the issues. What was the point in offloading feghouli and snodgrass if we don't replace them?

1.) 31 Aug 2017 21:36:17
So dgs can save more money.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 21:06:40
To save on their wages. We will never have a decent club while Pinky and Perky run it. They're only interested in their own pockets. Shame on them for lying so blatantly.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 22:28:39
Fight to stay up is on, had so much hype and hope at start but we are in mega trouble people.

17 Aug 2017 09:44:47
Hi guys, I wonder if West Ham have ever shown any interest in Leigh Griffiths from Celtic? He is 26 and showed yet again a very impressive display last night. He may have zero interest in leaving champions league football to join us I just would love him at the club with his goal scoring record. Like I said maybe totally unrealistic and he may have zero interest.

1.) 17 Aug 2017 20:55:10
When are we going to give Haksabanovic a go? Only heard good things since his arrival and sounds like his potential is through the roof.

2.) 18 Aug 2017 12:15:23
IM sure the player who was recommended by Freddy Llunberg will become a gem However with youngsters they must be eased in slowly to preserve a long career IRONMIKE.

3.) 18 Aug 2017 17:30:02
Michael Owen made his debut for Liverpool at 17 and scored. He made his england debut at 18 and played in a world cup at 19 if you are good enough age is merely a number. you can be over protective Declan rice certainly looked comfortable enough against man u in one of the biggest arenas. Some players thrive on it some fade away it's what sorts the class from the also rans.

4.) 19 Aug 2017 19:27:35
Spot on Boleynboy as long as he's given a rest now and then he'd be fine that's never washed with me about being too young as long as you're sensible no burnt out will occur I used to play twice a week and played till I was forty at semi- pro level I know it's a big step but players now are so fit told what to eat dietitians on board he'd be fine and he's got to be better than AYEW and NOBLE the same applies to QUINNA although a lot younger they could change a game with their brilliance same goes for SAMUELSON, MARCUS RASHFORD comes to mind and look at him. COYI.

Hi Mike, is there any truth in the Benitez rumours? From what you have said our board are clearly fans of him, has any approach been made either to Rafa or Newcastle?

I think it would be an understatement to say that the majority of us are not overly thrilled by that news. I find it surprising, considering how much our owners seem to rate Benitez that they have not sounded him out. Every year I am hopeful but if Sullivan really is still leading the negotiations then I expect another series of William Carvalho embarrassments.

While I completely agree with everything said, we have to play with the cards we have been dealt. Carroll could be a useful weapon for these next three games whether we like him or not, I personally agree that he should be winding his neck in.

As for the manager I did not want Moyes, I still don't want Moyes but quite simply who would want to manage us? We have to be realistic with our current board I don't think many managers would want anything to do with that. Whether we like Bilic or not he was badly let down by the board. I would love someone like Sean Dyche but there is no chance he would leave Burnley for us, we are such a mess and we are not a big enough club to compensate for that mess.

IF and it is still sadly a big IF we manage to stay up and Stoke did go down is Jack Butland someone we would look at? Or is he going to be sought after by bigger teams?

The problem, as I see it, with a fresh start in the Championship is there is no guarantee at all that we could get back up again, I think being relegated would be catastrophic, Championship is the graveyard for plenty of previously 'established' Premiership teams. We need to ignore our issues with the board and focus on getting behind the team, there are players good enough to get us out of trouble in that team, we need to support them. Marches and protests, if people feel they must do them, should not happen mid season.

I whole heartedly agree with you, the scenes and reaction was an utter disgrace. If you are angry or unhappy and you feel the need for this stupid rubbish then do it at the end of the season not mid season when we need unity. We actually did not play that badly until the goal, and at 1-0 down on 66minutes the game is simply not over, when the fans came on the game was done.

We are all disapointed and angry after that game, one of the most frutrating things was how easily Swansea scored. I mean we were hopeless going forward but it is not like Swansea were tearing us apart l, they did not need too, all four goals were just so damn easy it is infuriating. While Ayew was not great he did work hard and it just shows why you Do not sell to your rivals mid season.

Well we were not likely to get anything against Liverpool who increasingly look like the 2nd beat team in the league. On another note can anyone enlighten me as to why they booed Evra? I thought he was the innocent party from racism by Suarez or is there something I am missing?
