Hi Mike or Eds, I wonder if anyone could let me know what the situation with Jack Butland is? What is his likely destination in the summer or will he stay with Stoke? I have heard a 30Million price tag banded about?
Thank you.

WH4ever

1.) 06 Jun 2018 12:21:39
Liverpool I would guess at this time his most likely new home, esoecialy at 30m, WH amongst many would be interested. Should the price drop a bit or should I say a lot but there’s nothing so far from us IRONMIKE.

2.) 06 Jun 2018 12:33:52
Thanks Mike.

3.) 06 Jun 2018 16:21:11
Hi Mike gt info mate, is there any truth that MP has got problems already with the board.

4.) 06 Jun 2018 18:38:30
MP was already in the know regarding wages limitations before he took the job don’t let the media or other ITK. Sites wind you up with anything else WH are trying to keep a wages structure remember Leeds now possibly Villa . how close did we come to joining them? IRONMIKE.

Hi mike, I know his has been asked before but has there been any update on contract situations with lanzini and rice? Thanks.

WH4ever

1.) 30 May 2018 17:56:25
Not at present. IRONMIKE.

2.) 30 May 2018 23:28:58
Hiya NOEL is was born in Chelsea mate and out of my two brothers and about 100 close friends i'm the only HAMMER and I wouldn't change a thing as I love our club and I'm extremely passionate about WEST HAM UNITED p. 's I'm lying I'd change the owners but beggers can't be choosers. COYI.

14 Mar 2018 09:30:23
Hi Ironmike I wonder if you could clarify something for me. Was Reece Oxford loaned out because Moyes does not think he is good enough or is it because Oxford simply did not want to be here?
On another note, why is Hugill not getting any game time whatsoever or is he simply been deemed not good enough?
Thanms.

1.) 22 Mar 2018 16:42:23
HURGILL started yesterday against DAGENHAM he scored but apparently didn't perform well and isn't PREMIERSHIP STANDARD me personally think he's being judged on 15 min of substitute cameos but it stinks of a panic buy to shut the fans up otherwise with our injurys he'd have started by now and they won't get their money back on him but if we get relegated perhaps he will perform in the championship which he belongs and was probably brought for. COYI.

14 Feb 2018 07:55:44
Hi mike, do you think the fact Hernandez is playing and scoring might change Moyes' opinion on him? Or is he still likely to leave in the summer?

WH4ever

1.) 14 Feb 2018 09:11:46
Could be kissy and make up time we shall have to wait a while longer yet IRONMIKE A.

2.) 19 Feb 2018 10:38:59
How true MIKE is the rumour that BAMBA is going to sign a pre contract agreement from st etienne a 21 year old striker. COYI.

30 Jan 2018 12:46:36
Any news regarding Schurrle? I heard West Brom are now interested? I would think he would be a good signing or have we just gone cold on this one?

WH4ever

1.) 30 Jan 2018 13:08:26
It's obvious we were never in for any of them, if we are guzumped by Albion and even Watford now.

2.) 30 Jan 2018 13:11:51
Like 99% of the transfers we are linked with.
We enquire to make it look like we're interested just to keep the fans hapoy. When the other team say we can buy the player and name the price Rodney and Delboy stick their fingers in the ears and sing LA LA LA really loudly until someone else buys said player.

I wonder if anyone knows the situation with Zabaletta? I understand he is currently in the last year of his contract, is there any interest in offering him a new deal? Personally I think it would be foolish to let him go but he may not want to stay any longer.

WH4ever

1.) 01 Oct 2018 15:47:47
I get the feeling he's really enjoying his football with us - i'd love to see him stay for another season.

2.) 01 Oct 2018 17:57:16
Agree WHever, i would wait until Xmas and then sign him on for a year. Top professional and ALWAYS puts in a shift. Proper Hammers style player, and Fredricks will take time and we will need reliable player like Zaba to compete for the role.

3.) 01 Oct 2018 21:51:33
He will be a yard slower again next year obviously but I’d get him to coach FREDDERICKS on the art of being a R/ B as I think he’s got so much potential and was the best R/ B in the championship by a mile and Fulham were gutted when he left and Balbuena and Diop didn’t look great early in the season all he needs is confidence and I truly believe his best position could be right midfield like MASUAKU. COYI.

4.) 02 Oct 2018 11:44:11
Every year I think his legs are going to go and yet every year he continues to impress, his endeavour and professionalism is that of a model footballer, he should be retained if possible just to have around the dressing room.

5.) 03 Oct 2018 08:42:36
Hopefully he will have passed the batten on to Fredricks by the end of the year (he looks like a great prospect at RB) and Zaba will be playing support role if he signs on next year. But who knows with this guy, he keeps going and is a TOP pro, he will always push to be no.1 at RB and that can only be a good thing for Fredricks. Sign him.

6.) 03 Oct 2018 09:22:25
I really like zaba top professional and seems to be a real genuine guy I would like to keep for a coaching role. I can only imagine he gives the lads a real morale boost in the dressing room, in fact Eds if you would be so kind to add him to the player profile list I would like to read that for sure! thanks.

{Ed001's Note - you already got me to add him mate. There is just one more to do, then he will be next.}

7.) 04 Oct 2018 09:57:32
haha I think I ask for so many I forget who I have already requested! thanks mate.

8.) 04 Oct 2018 10:03:47
That's ok, the more the merrier.

11 Jun 2018 10:54:47
Hi guys, can you imagine if we really did manage to bring in Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop and Alban Lafont. What an exciting and excellent start to the window that would be, bringing in young talented players who can develop and hopefully flourish at West Ham.

WH4ever

1.) 11 Jun 2018 12:55:35
Imagine if I won the lottery. I'd be so happy. both have the same likelihood though unfortunately.

2.) 11 Jun 2018 13:51:56
well that is a big bummer, c'mon Dave we have to be positive! Have faith in Pellegrini.

3.) 11 Jun 2018 16:21:05
It seems West Ham have refused to grant Manuel Pellegrini his preferred choice Argentine Mario Husillos to be the club’s new head of recruitment, according to the a certain tabloid

The newspaper claim the new Hammers manager has “lost” a boardroom battle with co-owner David Sullivan and David Gold as he pushed for Husillos to be appointed the club’s new transfer guru to replace sacked Tony Henry.

4.) 11 Jun 2018 16:51:12
I know mate. Just hard when you've been fed so much s**t and all you expect is more of the same. I guess I'm skeptical about the whole 'we are after quality players' when this just screams lacazette all over againn.

5.) 11 jun 2018 17:39:17
spot on dave and still we sniff riund that exact player you mentioned lacazette who's turned us down on numerous times and is way out of our price range dave here we go again unfortunately. coyi.

6.) 11 Jun 2018 20:46:42
It's all a ploy to get us all hyped up and then turn round and say. we tried but didn't work out. well this time no one believes the bs.

7.) 11 Jun 2018 23:05:02
MAKE YOU BANG ON MATE what's your opinion on ANDERSON dave because I really can't see it happening because the minute LAZIO adjust their asking price to £30-35 million that will be that as SSN are saying we've only offered £17.5 but MIKE said that's B/ S and the deal should happen at the end of week I'll be the first to say to Mike I was wrong but just can't see it can you dave. COYI.

8.) 12 Jun 2018 05:50:04
I reckon Anderson will happen. Husillos will also join as head of Recruitment, and that we'll fail to address our CM woes.

That's my prediction is we'll start the season with:

New Keeper
Fredericks
New CB
Ogbonna
Cresswell

Rice
Kouyate

Anderson
Masuaku

Arnautovic
Hernandez.

9.) 12 Jun 2018 06:47:18
Again. we seem to be the standard '6-7' mil short. I said last week I can't see it happening and that it will drag on for a while and then it will fall Through but 'they tried everything's to get him k blah blah blah.

10.) 12 Jun 2018 07:35:13
Hi stubbo
That’s a very weak starting 11 especially if we
Don’t get Anderson but I don’t totally disagree
with u tho
Cresswell for me is over rated
Masuaku blows hot and cold
Lets hope we actually sign someone with this
money we reportedly have.

11.) 12 Jun 2018 08:53:40
well considering lanzini looks out for the whole season we will need to replace him with someone creative.

12.) 13 Jun 2018 19:25:57
Every window we have an epic tale going on. Last window it was dendoncker this window Anderson?

08 Jun 2018 11:43:25
Just seen the news about Manuel Lanzini, absolutely gutted for him. I am sure I speak for everyone here when I pray that he will have as swift as can be hoped recovery and that he comes back stronger.

The big worry for West Ham right now is, can you see 3 worse teams than us?

WH4ever

1.) 06 Feb 2018 11:26:10
Hi WH4, well there Huddersfield, and er er er er er er er er er,

Once Arnie is back and Antonio along with Mario we have just a chance as any of rthe teams down there, as long as Moyes still has the heart to care about us staying up if reports are correct his leaving.

Im hoping his on a big bonus to keep us up and along with his reputation that needs repairing I think we will be OK.

But the worrying thing is Swansea are getting their act together, WBA although a little adrift can produce under Pardew, I think Huddersfield are on the slippery slope but the other 2 positions are any one guess, I just hope we have enough as mentioned above.

2.) 06 Feb 2018 13:07:43
Entirely agree Warrington and not much more to add, can now see the point in not selling to relegation rival, we’ve done Swansea a right favour with their 2 long term injuries. On the lighter side bit surprised Ed’s and Mike didn’t know the last time DGS paid to watch as W. H. Fans, 😂😂think it could be when they put in millions££ to take control, expensive season tickets to watch a team face possible relegation.

3.) 06 Feb 2018 13:07:43

4.) 06 Feb 2018 13:10:57
Ps, think Moyes shouldn’t have commented on leaving regardless of our position, not good for morale for those players that are responding to him!

5.) 06 Feb 2018 13:21:29
No he should not, I fear it could further destabilize us. What is the betting that Andre Ayew scores against us when we play Swansea.

6.) 06 Feb 2018 13:23:39
The big issue is IF we survive it won't be because we have played well it will be, yet again, because there are more than 3 teams who are not good enough for this league. In my opinion this relegation race is so tight because we have 11 teams in the premier league who have been extremely poor and based on this season are not good enough.

7.) 06 Feb 2018 13:24:57
You can dress it up as much as you want but the simple truth is we shouldn't being this position with the players we got I understand we've had injury's but so have other clubs you have to rise above that but to get beat 6-1 on aggregate to BRIGHTON isn't good enough we have a team good enough to beat this and the salary some of our players are on they just haven't confirmed that salary with consitant performances and that's wrong so the players we have and are stuck with have to perform plain and simple the only people we have to blame if we are relagation is 1 the players,2 the main reason is THE TROTTERS FACT, THEY HAVE PUT WEST HAM IN A VERY PRECARIOUS PLACE AND THE QUICKER THEY ARE GONE THE BETTER. COYI.

8.) 06 Feb 2018 13:54:26
Could be WH4 that's the 11 teams in question are of equal standings,

I just looked at our fixtures, and I can only see us getting 10 more points and i'm serious, I hope i'm totally off the mark, but in general for me its 10 points, will 37 be enough?

9.) 06 Feb 2018 14:30:40
Oh I agree I think they are, but I also think the likes of Wolves would put all 11 to the sword.
I am very fearful of relegation, I think this game against watford will be a good indicator.

10.) 07 Feb 2018 10:46:22
I don't believe in 6 month contracts all that points to SULLIVAN PLAYING SAFE YET AGAIN.

01 Feb 2018 07:04:01
I for one am seriously concerned for the rest of the season. We have nobly mario and kouyate to cover midfield till the end of the season. I for one see zero logic in selling Ayew to a rival mid season if you are not going to reinvest the money. With such a small squad getting rid of him is baffling, he would at the very least done a job till the summer but instead he has strengthened Swansea and we are weaker. What happens if Noble gets injured? We won't have a midfield. Personally extremely worried.

I would personally love us to try and sign Kieran Tierney I think he is fantastic, versatile and is a leader. Though I may be being unrealistically ambitious and he may have no interest in us.

I think you will struggle to find a West Ham fan who does not think our transfer priority should be to get Declan Rice signed to a long contract worthy of his status and value to the team. I understand the idea of this style of contracts they want players to be on but at the same time we are intending to be cutting wages in January with sales so give Rice a proper contract before his head is actually turned.

Hi Ed, what is the situation with Joao Mario at Inter, does he simply not fit the way the manager wants to play or have they just realised he is not good enough for them?

WH4ever

{Ed002's Note - He is no longer wanted at the club and is not a first choice player. They are working on adding another CM player at the moment and have some FFP issues to deal with as well and he is one of those they are looking (still) to move on.}

I wonder how much better our defenders would look with a quality CDM or two in front of them. Aside from the Callum Wilson goal that really was just comic from all involved our defence is overworked due to a lack of CDM.

I think the point you are missing Stubbo is the glaring weakness in our midfield which has been evident for 2-3 seasons. Nobody is saying we have had a bad window, we have had a great window, people are just saying that huge gap still exists, if anything we are maybe slightly weaker there after selling Kouyate.

Are our owners deliberately trying to test Rice's resolve and commitment to the club? It would be easy for a player's head to be turned by Man Utd.

Wilson's goal was hilariously bad defensively just painfully easy. Our soft centre and lack of defensive abilities clear as usual.
