I've seen we could be going back in for Shelvey, and noticed he wasn't in the Newcastle team yesterday?

Stevie, I was hoping we might have got him in the last window, I really rate him, everything for me is in his favour, East Londonder, appparently WH fan, great flair, can score the odd goal, tough combative midfielder, yeh would love him with us👍👍⚒⚒⚒⚒.

I’ve met him and he’s a nasty so and so.
Wouldn’t want him at West Ham based purely on that.
But I’m sure the club will do their due diligence if they did want him and I can only trust the process.

He is a good player and yes he offers some steel and a great passing ability esp over distance ( a trait we lack at the moment, too many under hit long passes ) I'd have him :)

I just don't rate SHELVEY and selling OBIANG IMO is a mistake but we shall see. COYI.

I’m not a great Shelvey fan either. Lots of hustle and bustle and the odd raking pass, but he is over physical too often and his discipline is poor. There is better out there.

Better for 12.5 mil? I think if anything . he would improve the squad. In today's market.12.5 for a PL player is great. even if he turns out in a year's time to be a squad player. We also need depth in all areas. and cm is something that we lack in.

The possible approach for Shelvey seems to be controversial amongst us, however I will agree he seems to have a nasrty streak, but it becomes a strict matter of who is available and wants to come to us that is within budget, not who we want! I see so many names mentioned on here I find it laughable😂 we’re not top 6 yet, so we don’t have the luxury of being able to pick and choose yet, whoever we sign won’t be everybody’s choice, life doesn’t work like that, especially opinions on players ability, the possible exception being Declan Rice, he seems a genuine nice loyal lad, with a great future ahead, a rare breed indeed, long may he stay with us👍⚒⚒.
