Hi fellas Update this morning DGS have contacted Newcastle re Benitez to find. Ashley wants 5m to release Benitez from his contract Bilic is in fact at Sullivan's House now awaiting the 2 Davids as Mr Gold is on his way there IRONMIKE.

Not really convinced of Benitez, would have preferred a younger manager with modern ideas but I guess Benitez has the experience we dearly need at the moment to turn this mess around.

We need a manager who can settle us and make us stable club in the PL. WHEN/ IF that happens then we can look for younger managers.

As I said here last week, Benitez is not happy at Newcastle. He is unhappy with his squad and Ashley has not got the financial clout to improve it. He'd come to West Ham United because he likes our players. He would be a dream acquisition to replace clueless Bilic. I also explained why Howe is no good for us. He's the next England manager, so his appointment would be short termm only.
Fingers crossed the Davids sack Bilic and get Benitez.

Benitez is not the man we need he's so negative it's unreal the man had a 61% win record at REAL MADRID stevie wonder could have done a better job do me a favour that's their first win and only because we didn't turn up they are awful.

Newcastle are awful because the manager has not been allowed to strengthen his squad with premiership standard players - nothing to do with Benitez. He's doing the best he can with the resources he's got. Ashley said in interview he hasn't got the money to buy the players his manager wants. And let's face it, they still played us off the park.

i to would prefer someone like eddie howe, or a manager in the mould of pochetino or koeman who will blood these talented youngsters we have, we are crying out for decent centre halfs and have 2 of the best english prospects out on loan in oxford n burke.
We are also crying out for pace and actual footballers to play alongside lanzini yet haksa, quina, samuelson and hold can't get near the squad.

Benitez is not the Manager we need its his holding Midfielder Jonjo Shelvey
i think he would do the job for us and can make that pass our forwards need. It would free up cash for Newcastle.
