Here we go again with Arnoutovic. Yes he is under contract, yes we should decide when he can be transferred and yes his brother is a mouthy so and so with a brain the size of a pea who thinks his brother is on the level of a Messi, but for god sake just get this bloke out the club.

I know out of principle we could let him rot in the reserves for £100k a week, we could fine him if he does not turn up for training but what is the point? .

Unfortunately this is the way some players are and no matter how much of a stance you take, it just disrupts the club and more importantly the team. Get as much as you can for him, say thank you very much for his service and tell him to frig off as quickly as possible.

We have got to get rid, however, given we are making good strides with good young players ATM we cannot leave a precedence that suggests these players can go on the cheap if they force their way. If he wants to go to China for cash then just sell, his value will only go down from here on and he will be forgotten completely over there, which young and ambitious players would not want to mimic, and hence won't follow suit. If he wants to go to a European club however, then £30m minimum, or £25m with waived loyalty fee based on handing in transfer request.
Looking at stats on transfermarket. co. uk Arnie scored or assisted a goal every 137 minutes for us last season. Meanwhile, in a struggling Newcastle team who had far less going forward than us until Almiron arrived in Jan, Rondon scored or assisted a goal every 138 minutes. Food for thought, we are not losing much if Arnie goes, and i think MP and Husillos are easily capable of replacing his goals and contributions. Rondon could do it, and we would make a profit, and he would probs be a backup to a bigger signing LIKE Gomez anyway! We don't need 4 strikers like last season, just 2 who are committed and happy at the club and want to play for the team.

How the Arnautovic brothers are not embarrassed by their behaviour is beyond me. Why would we reject £35m and give him a new contract if we were trying to sell him in Jan, this comment defines stupidity. THEY agreed a £40m release clause (for 5 months) up to end of June, only to hand in a transfer request the DAY AFTER it expires saying there is a £19m bid (less than half), this is simply embarrassing. Our football and our great club will be far better without him.

Apparently any Arnautovic contract isn’t worth the paper it’s rotten on.

The blokes an idiot it's as if he's trying to act so foolish we just wash our hands with it and let him go for a low price simply to get them away from our club. can't say I wouldn't be tempted to take less than what we should be getting just to get these clowns away from our club.
