Well, if the 4 clubs beneath us all win and we lose, we could easily be 11th by the weekend. Bad away result to leverkusen next week and season over. What does moyes and sullivan do then?

In one respect, I’m a little surprised at the lack of comments and views on the Spurs game, yet in another I’m not. I thought it was a rather boring game where the points were finally shared through luck rather than judgement. From our perspective it was a game of missed chances having allowed a rather below par Spurs side to have the majority of possession. In the end, after awful misses by Bowen and Antonio, we scored by pure luck when the ball bounced into their goal after luckily hitting Zouma’s back! Recognising his major cock up against the Toon, Moyes elected to play it safe and refrained from making any changes. It really was a lack-lustre performance from both sides, indicative of how this season has developed. I can’t wait for it to be over, when we can get shot of the Moyes millstone round our necks and start to rebuild under a more progressive leadership.

I see Brighton announce record profits of £123m, very impressive and this is all because they have a very smooth, well organised football club which was founded by Graham Potter and his long term vision. OK, Potter is a project man, but the football he got Brighton playing which was passed to De Zerbi was easy on the eye, at home or away! Teams were genuinely afraid to play brighton and for that reason alone, I'd love Potter to take over

Although I agree that Potter would be an improvement over what we currently have, I’m not so sure that Potter would be a good choice for West Ham. Whilst I also agree that Potter had insufficient time at Chelsea, I didn’t much like the style of football he was introducing. I am of the opinion that Arne Slot, or someone of his ilk, would be a better fit.

The west ham supporters wouldn't allow the club to be run like Brighton. And correctly so . If that was the plan why did we leave Upton park . Sooner or later it will catch up with Brighton. Just like it did Southampton.

Hammer, maybe I’m missing something here but am bemused by your comment “ the supporters wouldn’t allow the club to be run like Brighton”
Since when have our Board let the supporters have any input toward running the club and how many are actually privvy to how the the club is run?
It’s only now that Moyes’s contract is coming to the end that they are apparently making revisions but they appear to still be putting an offer on the table?
There is no guarantee whoever takes over, the Board had to eat humble pie after taking on Pelligrini and return to DM, i personally however would love to see Moyes go! Potter for me would be a good choice if available, I agree with DaisyHammer comments!
