There's been a lot of discussion recently over the contract (or no contract) of David Moyes. Many people have come to agree with what some of us have been saying for at least 18 months - Moyes needs to be replaced. Lots of people have been saying who they'd like to see as the next head coach at WHU, but there has not been much airing of those names we DON'T want to see installed at the London Stadium.
Top of my list must be Gareth Southgate. I think he will be replaced as England coach when we fail to win anything this summer. It would be a disaster if he were even considered as a Moyes replacement.
I also do not want to see Jose Mourinho, Thomas Tuchel or Steve Cooper at WHU.
What about you?

Yes Tin, it appears a power struggle is set to ensue in the summer between Moyes and Steidten. I'd really like us to employ a manager who HAS HAD experience managing in the Premier league. And for me Definitely not mourinho, cooper, fonseca, tuchel or Gaultier.

I would agree with the above non-choices. Especially Mourinho and cooper. Reading his stats on attacking I don’t really want Potter either. But wouldn’t be dead against it. I would hope TS could source a decent one from Europe. I think Garry O’Neil and the Bournemouth manager have done brilliant jobs with limited resources especially when you consider how poor Bournemouth were at the start of the season. I just hope whoever gets the job they are given some breathing space to make mistakes and not expect instant gratification because we need a major rebuild especially if we lose LP.

Gary O'Neil or Marco Silva would be my choices but this is Sully we're talking so more likely to see Rafa (God forbid) than those two.

Dicksy1973, agreed, said on previous posts would be well happy with Gary O’Neil?Ex Hammer or Silva but who would be willing to work with our Board, but money talks everywhere and multi million £ contracts must be hard to turn down, if Managers prove to be rubbish, they have massive pay offs lined up, do millionaires care? I suppose there are those that have pride, but for me and most other fans, the wages paid have long been an insult to the paying fans earning normal PAYE wages! COYI ⚒⚒⚒⚒

I would agree with the non managers and add to that of Michael Carrick just don't think he is experienced enough. What. I would like to see is a really good coach who could bring the best out of our players and inspire the youth squads to come through. Someone who knows when to put an arm round then or alternatively give them a kick up the arse when it's needed and can work with Tim Stenton
