Fornals to Sevilla in Jan? It wouldn’t surprise me. He’s getting less playing time and the arrival of Kudus won’t help him at all.

It's a real shame. Fornals is a cracking little player but gets pelters when he's not at his best, mainly due to the fact that Moyes keeps shuffling him out to left midfield or worse left wing - which given his lack of pace is laughable really.

I'll be a bit gutted to see him go but someone will get a proper bargain when they sign him as a bona fide AMC.

Fornals is a genuine nice bloke. No doubting that. Unfortunately, he’s a bit weak on the ball and loses it in the majority of one on one challenges. He also has a bad habit of giving the ball away. Most of the time, he can’t hit a barn door when shooting. Every now and then he shows signs of brilliance and comes up with match winning moves or shots. The problem is, he’s not consistent enough. Admittedly, he’s been used as a sort of utility midfielder and has been played out of his natural position. For a long time, Moyes relied on Fornals, but there were too many anonymous performances, interspersed with the odd brilliant display. He’s a popular player, never complaining, but the truth is he’s not quite good enough.

I think Fornals will stay in Jamuary as we have Kudus, Cornet, Aguerd and Benrahma in the Africa Nations Cup.

He’ll sign a pre-contract agreement with a La Liga club in January and leave when his current contract expires in the summer.
