I’ve said this before in the last few years and I’ll say it again.
Understandably we’re all getting a bit annoyed that no new incomings have materialised. However, let’s no forget window is open for another month.
I too take exception to the fact that Moyes “being old school” tends to only have belief in players with PL experience. However, let’s not forget that he signed Aguerd, Kehrer, Scammaca, Paqueta etc.
Now I’ll be honest and say JWP isn’t a bad target to have whereas Maguire and McTominay fill me with dread.
However, let’s sit tight and see what happens. More often than not many “fans” ( and I use the word loosely, post nothing but unhelpful comments about “dithering Dave, club is a joke, lowballing with transfer bids etc” and it’s annoying. Are you really fans? Spending a few quid watching a game or buying a replica shirt doesn’t give you an automatic entitlement to slag off the club many of us have supported for 50 years or more. It’s a damn business and run like a business…: wake up!
Let the power struggle continue at West Ham and sort itself out, be patient and hopeful that Steidten gets his way and Moyes gets judged on the relatively poor decisions he has made in the past for players.IMO the only players he’s signed that did ok was Bowen.
If they sign JWP, Maguire, McTominay and Peter Shelton in goal, I’ll still stand by my club.
Keep the faith Irons and stop openly criticising the club you say you support. Other fans from other clubs also read our posts and must be laughing their a**es off thinking WH fans are fickle and thick.

Coyi64 that is singularly the most sensible post written on here in absolute months. Clubs know we have money burning a hole in our pockets and are therefore over valuing players in the hope we get desperate. If we panic buy those same players will be the ones that certain posters on here take great delight in slagging off later in the season.

In saying that Moyes isn’t helping and I for one felt he should have done the honourable thing and resigned after we won the Cup in Europe. In terms of replacing him, Graham Potter, Michael Carrick or Xabi Alonso would be my choice but having brought him in Tim Steiden needs listening to and working with. I’d take McGuire but would want that signing backed with young talent such as Fofana, Alverez and Broja/Balagun

COYI64, I agree with your statement. If Moyse wishes to buy specific players and feels they will improve our side, then we need to back him. After all, Moyse works with these players and understands their strengths and weaknesses.

I think it's the Saudis throwing millions of pounds and ridiculous wages that's pushed the price up not because we've got £105million as we haven't got that money up front unless I'm mistaken ED am I wrong and I apologise if you've already clarified this matter.⚒⚒⚒

{Ed001's Note - they are causing the market to distort badly.}
