Downes is a local Essex lad originally from Brentwood, so the ⚒’s will be a dream for him, know nothing about him, but trust the Managers judgement, he knows the ruggedness of the English leagues!
Kluivert, son of Patrick, don’t know about him except his surname, prefer home countries experience for signings personally, at least easier scouted for full 90 minute games as opposed to carefully chosen video clips. No doubt decent player as Dutch international, but it’s the emigrating that bothers me!⚒⚒⚒⚒

Just had a look at some Kluivert footage (yeah, yeah, I know YouTube only shows the good bits).

The lad has great acceleration and excellent feet.

I’d take him, if the price is reasonable.
