Just seen on BBC football gossip text today,
"Declan Rice wants to move to Chelsea in January" True or False? We'll have to wait and see? âš’âš’âš’.

Chelsea will put him in the back four. With us there’s guaranteed game time, captaincy, CAM / CDM versatility and probably England captaincy eventually. WHUFC need to remove the salary issue I guess.

Also we play Chelsea in 4days time. Convenient mind games to unsettle our stalwart.

We need to accept if if he moves, that’s life, if we are offered opportunities in our own working lives, especially with big increases in salary, coupled with a huge signing on fee, no uprooting to move away, it’s got to be a win, win situation for him! He’s a stunning exceptional player with a huge future, we were destined to lose him at some time to Chelsea with his previous connection as well. We just need to get the right fee plus maybe a player or 2 to capitalise on a one off player? Big, big loss, but although seriously missed if he goes, no player is bigger than the club! ⚒⚒⚒.

I have just looked at our players salaries for 2020/ 21 season! According to this list Declan Rice has 17 players earning more than him😮😮😮top earner Yarmelenko, followed by of all people Haller earning a whopping over 4 times Dec’s salary, I would stick my fingers up to the board, Taxi.
Absolutely insulting, what a way to run a club! If you’ve never seen the wage structure have a look online! 😮😮🤔🤔⚒⚒⚒.

To add to the fire, there’s a rumour that Rice has just made his father, a season ticket holder at Stamford Bridge, his new agent.

Also, in such a physical sport, when the next game you play could be your last, he needs to earn as much as he can while the sun still shines.

At the top spheres of Football there are fortunes to be made by talented players and also the not so talented players! But yes you need to keep reasonably injury free and yes you are always only a game away from a career threatening injury! As long as you look after your fortunes and don’t gamble it away. Robbie Fowler owns a few streets in Oldham apparently, also lots of others been very shrewd, but others have drunk& gambled their lives into oblivion! However I see Rice as not remotely in the latter mould, seems to have his feet firmly on the ground! Good luck to him if he goes, but he will badly missed to say the least! The board are in for a bad time if it happens and the money isn’t reinvested wisely in the supporters opinions! ⚒⚒⚒.

If he goes he goes WH will still be in good shape, yes of course we all want him to stay but it will be down to his decision. The good news is DM should have a good amount of money to invest in the team.
i do believe he will leave either Xmas or the summer and i for one will wish him all the best, its not all doom and gloom though is it, i don't think anyone thought last year we would be 7th in the Premiership approaching Christmas DM has done fantastic job on limited funds if DEC leaves at least DM hopefully will have a decent budget to work with.

I’d like to see G&S pledge that any money raised from selling players will be reinvested in new players.

Don’t think he will move in January. The important thing for me is how we go second half of the season and what gets communicated to him about his position, captaincy, and club ambition, as the summer is when the pressure will come on.

I truly believe that rice is the most improved midfielder in the country look when he was taken off at H/ T against liverpool early in the season (rightly so) since then he's been superb and i think he's a C/ M and not a C/ B i'm my opinion.
