It looks like a third bid for Tarkowski has been rejected, is it time to move on and forget this one?

Absolutely, with Everton looking to shed Keane, Sigi and Walcott et al I would think Moise Keane and a defender would be better value for £31. Burnley jacked the price because we "need" him.

I'd move on. What about going for Keane and Smalling? You may get both for £30-35 million?

Matviyenko and Takehiro would sort out both FB positions and give increased options for CB and DM.

Unless I have it wrong. West Ham offered Burnley £30m for Tarkowski a few days ago and they said no. Also made it clear that somewhere near £50m is asking price.
I don’t believe for a minute West Ham only upped their bid by £1m on latest offer.
I know DGS take chances, but not like that. I think this is mischief making by the media to cause a major fallout so they have something else to report on.

I think the last bid was £30m with about £10m up front but the new bid was £31m with £25m u front?

I think that’s right Stevie, they structured it differently to try to test whether it was money up front I’m guessing. Appears walk away time unless there is something we don’t know.
