To illustrate the total nonsense these so-called TV pundit "experts" spout, read the article by Anthony Martin on 'Hammers News'. Danny Murphy is probably the worst, often talking absolute bollocks. In this article, Martin quotes Murphy's take on Declan Rice. Martin points out that Murphy either has not watched West Ham for quite a long time, or the only alternative being Murphy's total lack of understanding the noble game of football. Murphy is so far off the mark, there can be no other explanation. This begs the question 'who hires these idiots?' I suggest Murphy should try WATCHING football or he should look for alternative employment. Say, maybe reading children's books?

I sometimes wonder if Danny Murphy has been watching the same matches as everyone else. In a discussion with Simon Jordan, Murphy said that England’s game is pacey “pinging the ball about.” Why is it then that a common complaint about England’s style is that it’s too slow, with too many back passes and too many square balls?
Murphy also said he was more impressed with Kane in this world cup than in 2018! Jordan strongly disagreed with him.
He also recently said, “If you get hurt in the head, it doesn’t stop your legs working.” What? Surely that is contrary to all medical advice about head injuries?
I realise this is his opinion, and I can only give my opinion here, but surely this is daft. I find my opinion is at odds with that of Murphy more than any other TV pundit. Or am I mistaken? What do others think?

Watching England last night in the first 30 mins or so was so much like watching us. Dire, with no imagination, sitting back with too many passes arounbd at the back and far too slow. All of a sudden we woke up which was in the main due to Henderson chasing and running. Again it reminded me of us. Too many players standing aroiund doing very little. All this for us brought on by the tactics of one person!

Often find myself baffled by his comments.
The head injuries is a strange one though players will take the slightest knock and will go down knowing the game will be stopped to gain an advantage.

I agree AL, but if it means that just one genuine serious head injury receives attention a lot faster, then all the prima donna play acting by some players is a small price to pay, wouldn't you agree? I have every sympathy with the refs, as they only need to get it wrong once and let play continue, to be vilified.
As for the Murphy comment, I find it unbelievable, given the recent coverage on head injuries and possible causes of long term brain injuries in sport. I'm sure he didn't mean it the way it came out.

When did Wee Davy receive his head trauma exactly? (it'd explain a lot).
