I have read that the club wanted to accept the Villa offer, but that Paqueta said he was staying.

Such a different story from those that said he wanted to go and had refused to play v Forest.

The guy has taken a lot of stick especially saying he is a poor player. Whilst he has had some underwhelming games I think he was playing with shackles on until Sunday and the formation change and having Fernandez with him will be great.
Sullivan has absolutely no interest in West Ham doing well. He doesn’t want relegation but just wants to sell all our assets and get his wage bill down. He must have been so angry he didn’t go to Villa and also paqueta has exposed all the fake stories about certain players wanting to leave
