KWP are WH starting to get in touch with reality, ? this player is a VERY GOOD move for WH, 6 weeks back WH were flippant in offering him a derisory signing on fee and very average wages, which was topped by Spurs immediately, and then eventually the Turkish side, topped that, come forward 6 weeks, and WH are seeking to buy the Rb from Girona for £12 m plus £3 m add ons, so it's £15 m plus leveraged % that equals around £20 m, to do this, when you can get a full back, who's probably better, and can play both sides, give him more or less what he wants 60 k a week plus 3 m signing on fee, it's not even a debate, WH will try to spread, that signing on fee over a four year deal if they can, ? making it 75 k a week, that, means no outlay, except small agents fee, NETT RESULT if he signs, WH have full back cover both sides for 500 k saving themselves £19.5 m , that sounds, like good business to me, He's a good fit for WH, I'm hoping it all goes through smoothly

Got to be honest, we should have been all over him the minute his contract at Southampton expired.
As you say Joyfull, he is a free agent, no transfer fee, spread the cost of his signing on fee over the length of his contract and it’s a Premier League fullback that can play both sides signed for very little.
This might be a little contentious but I’d also offer the same sort of deal to Reguilon. Not as versatile and is only really suited to the left hand side, but is an experienced Premier League fullback, that should be at prime age.
Reason being, Wan-Bissaka and Diouf will be off the the AFCON next year, and it’ll leave us with Walker-Peters, Reguilon and Scarles as our fullback options when they’ve gone.

Romano is known as the topman, Markro but he’s very involved in Italy, WH are not big on any agenda, as you can imagine, in this case it was a Turkish agent who called the shot, certainly wasn’t me!
