True. I believe he should be allowed to go for personal reasons. If he does, that will leave Moyes with only 484 centre backs. Whatever will he do? My guess is he'll try and convert either Scamacca or Fornals into Dawson's replacement. Failing that, Areola could also be a contender for CB. Moyes won't be happy until he can start a game with the formation 10-0-0.

Two rumours circulating at the moment -
Stuart Pearce jacked it in because Moyes wanted him to come out of retirement and play at centre back. Psycho refused - he wanted to play at centre forward.
Moyes is considering coming out of retirement himself to make up the numbers at centre back, and be player-manager.

West Ham are in pursuit of Pablo Maia after the Sao Paulo midfielder claimed it is his dream to play in Europe. His dream could turn into a nightmare if Moyes gets his hands on him. For a start, he'll be expected to train at centre back and won't get a game until he's 'bedded in' with the first team squad in about 2025.

I haven't heard that one; but I did hear on the grapevine that Ken Brown has been approached by Moyes with a lucrative offer of a comeback. Apparently, the 88 years old former centre half is a little reluctant because he feels he's lost some pace since his retirement. He allegedly said he'd think it over.

Is this a joke? Yet ANOTHER centre back? Eventually, Moyes will only consider buying defenders with bricklaying experience. This will enable him to actually build a brick wall across the goal mouth and stand his entire team of centre backs in the goal behind the wall. The problem comes at half time when the teams have to change ends. Still, Moyes thinks of everything - he's ordering bags of quick-drying cement so he can quickly erect a new brick wall in the other goal during the half-time break.
I give up.
