Excellent result. Sticky 15 minutes at the start but we grew into the game. Very valuable 3 points. Team wanted to run and smiled. Thought Soucek mom, he is a far superior captain than Bowen. We looked organised and not scattergunned. More of the same please Mr Potter.

The old fight is back as entertaining football returns at last. This is what I’ve been banging on about for a few years. Very strange game at times; we were gifted two goals and Fab was wearing his concrete boots for both their goals, but it was obvious the brakes were off. Now looking forward to Saturday, without that feeling of trepidation.

Still we think we need goalkeeper and central defence, we can have a make shift attack but we cannot in defence.

Bring Aguerd back, was prone to the odd mistake but has the pace to recover, kilman and Mavropanos have no pace and any mistake is punished.

Aguerd and Todibo are a good combo at the back with AWB and Scarles, plenty of pace which should tighten up the back

Aguerd can’t be recalled on his loan, It’s unclear what Sullivan /potter want to do at CB

@tinlegs, we weren't gifted those goals our hard work and organised pressing earned them.

I like how compact we were really mitigated the lack of pace in the midfield, we weren't over run or completely open through the middle of the pitch like under lopetegui. Left the space out wide for them to Pump plenty crosses into our box which was almost our downfall, the subs and changes to the shape potter made mitigated that well.

Players look invigorated, looking forward to seeing what he can do once summerville, Bowen, Todibo are back.

I’m not sure about Todibo, his positional play is bang average, whereas Mavro has s bad mistake in him every game. Neither are secure.

Time will tell, I think there is a good player in both. Can already see the players responding to Potter wether that's a mindset change the tactics or both, I think both of those players could stand to benefit.

AI,
Two of our goals were as a direct result of two major cock ups by Fulham. If that’s not gifted, then I don’t know what is. And we should be pressing and working hard in every game as a matter of course. We shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but without those two obvious mistakes (ask Marco Silva) the scoreline just MIGHT have been different.

We forced the errors imo. A gift for me would be an unforced error but each to their own. Not bothered what Silva thought couldn't beat us when we had summerville, bowen, fullkrug, Antonio, todibo missing.

I mean both the awobi goals were quite fortunate as well if their forwards didn't miss the ball fab MIGHT have saved it.

I think you are both right. There were 2 mistakes made by the defender and keeper that lead to goals but we still had a fair bit to do score on the first goal and Ings uncharacteristically chasing down the keeper on the 2nd created that goal. Fulham on the whole did look the better side but they were unbeaten in 9 games and play fast positive football as a team oozing with confidence.

The marked difference is that under Loopy we’d have lost that game 5 or 6-1 whereas under Potter we battled to the win. As has been said I’m really excited to see what Potter can do when Bowen and Todibo are fully back, sadly don’t see Antonio (I think he’ll retire) and Fulkrug will play for us again. If we can get 2 or 3 new incomings as well, happy days
