I hope DM doesn't field a starting XI with the intention of minimising a loss. We need an attacking side to stand any chance against Liverpool. I'd love to see Scamacca as centre forward with Antonio playing wider on the left. That would send a message. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm hopeful as always. COYI!

Thats the way he thinks I'm afraid. Just look what he did at home to city. I also have real concerns.Cresswell V Salah and Nunez v Coufal. Not good match ups and it just shows how we need upgrades at full back. We could have had Joakim Maehle and Borna Sosa but no.

What annoys me the most is the fact that Moyes doesn't even attempt to get a result away from home against any of the big sides.

Liverpool could be playing their U23s and Moyes would still set us up in the vain hope that we won't concede. If we get more than 30% possession and two attempts on target tonight I'll be surprised.

He's ill or injured but he's playing a team not to lose again only plus is DOWNES starts but wouldn't have had PAQUETA been available let's hope SOUCEK has been told to get forward whenever possible but DOWNES the only plus and LIVERPOOL haven't got the greatest starting 11 there are weaknesses I'd have started ANTONIO on the left wing and tell him to get at TAA at all times and BOWEN should get at TSIMIKAS.

"Moyes is going nowhere".never a phrase more truthful. As long as he can get the odd win or draw every now and then, his job is safe. After such a vast financial outlay, the owners should be looking at what COULD be achieved, not the mediocre results DM actually gets. They should bite the bullet and replace him with someone who has a totally different approach to justify the spend. I'll put my hands up and say I've never liked Moyes, even when things appeared to be going well last season. I thought it's only a matter of time before his true colours shone through. I know this criticism of the coach gets boring after a while, but I honestly believe all our problems stem from an incompetent manager. Man Utd recognised their mistake very quickly; Real Sociedad likewise; Sunderland followed and they dropped to the Championship under Moyes. We are left with his 11 or 12 years at Goodison where he achieved absolutely nothing. So where does his "good manager" reputation actually come from? Everton stuck with him because they had no money and couldn't afford to change the manager. The fact is, when they had the chance to have him back, even Everton didn't want him! Everyone recognises that we have a talented squad of players. So why is it that we've started so poorly? It's because the players are badly managed. He's a rude, self-opinionated, limited coach who actually believes the nonsense that football tv pundits say about him. They are the ones who continuously sing his praises, but they don't support a team he coaches (badly) and they don't sit through the same old predictable mistakes he makes, week in, week out. I've supported this club man and boy since 1963 and it breaks my heart to witness a group of good players being mismanaged by a very average coach who lives of an ill-earned and misplaced reputation. Sorry, but I think it needs saying.

I'd go for THOMAS FRANKS or I like Marco solve of Fulham out of the premier league managers who I'd say are gettable IF,IF,IF,IF we were to get shot of MOYES which we all know will never happen under sully and gold,but our only hope is if KRETINSKY and ALBERT SMITH can become main shareholder in west ham but the control freak SULLY would never agree tho that so unfortunately we are stuck with MOYES if he keeps sneaking small wins over the teams we SHOULD be beating in the premier league while I know nothing in the premier league is a given you all know what I mean "harry".

Also on why MOYSE didn't fancy signing ONANA who has been very good in the everton central midfield and was again good today was IMO he was too young as DM likes experienced old heads and that's my take on that right or wrong but that's my views on it.
