So the Guardian reporting Carroll will be dropped for the Leicester game. I would have thought it would be better if he started alongside Arnie. He will be fired up ready to prove Moyes was wrong not to bring him on against City.

I understand the whole thing about discipline but Moyes shouldn't cut of his nose just to prove a point.

A fired up Andy Carroll and a respondent Arnie could just get us over the line and if Collins is fit again so much the better.

Mercerl, absolutely spot on mate, I will really have the hump if Moyes makes this personal, he has 55,000 fans to consider! Exactly right to get Carroll fired, but perhaps there maybe an ulterior motive as well to exclude Carroll? Give young Hugill a chance instead of the Mexican that doesn’t want to play for Moyes or us! I read Antonio rates him as a bit of a “beast” saying he gave Dunk a bruising timewhen he came on at Brighton, so it seems he will put it about! Arnie, Carrol, Hugill, up front with Lanzini and Masuako playing either side supplying the crosses, time for heavyweights not lightweights! Read ages ago Hoddle really rated him as well and wasn’t surprised Premiership club had bought him, now give him a chance!

I can't believe he has dropped Caroll over a spat. If we were midway through the season or safe. maybe yes out of principle as no player is bigger than the club, but at such a crucial time its ridiculous, if anything Carrol would want to make a point to Moyes. the more of Moyes I see and hear the less i'm beginning to like him, he looks miserable and this IMO is rubbing off on the players. he has a get out if we go down. we have the championship, its a stupid decision, whos throwing there toys out the pram now?

I agree Chelms with Hugill, its time we saw him and time he stepped in if baby Moyes is dropping Caroll. oh well the WH saga just carries on.

Hmmm, further to MOYES decision making it seems that Drinkwater for £30m is MOYES answer to making our MIDFIELD solid?

I’ve said befor about Hugill when we bought him, he had a season at my town club Whitby town, he likes to put his self about a bit like Carrol. The kid needs a chance, Moyes needs to grow up and spend his last three games getting results, I think Carroll is key despite his injuries, play them both and Arnie go for the throat because our centre midfield is weak and defenders not to good despite IMO zaba been a good edition despite him slowing down a bit now, propa professional I think. Cresswell not been brilliant but he’s the best crosser of the ball we have by far, bring ginger pele back everyone loves him he does put a shift in.
