I must admit even though a point is not the end of the world I did expect a positive result last night, but it just goes to show we are where we are because we deserve to be in that position.

We have a 7 point cushion which means out of four games Stoke have left ( Home Palace, Burnley, Away Liverpool Swansea), they need at least 2 wins and a draw to get level but with a goal difference of -33 reality they need 3 wins from 4, or 2 wins 2 draws which is a tall order.

Southampton who are starting to play well under Hughes albeit the results not going there way.

They have 5 games as we do ( Home B, mouth Man C Away, Leicester Everton Swansea), the good is 2 worst than ours . Again a tall order, they have only I think won 2 games away all season in Prem,

Its going to be tight but hopefully we may just scrape through even without picking up any more points which is unthinkable, but worrying all the same. We should never be in this position in the first place but it it what it is.

We have Arsenal Sunday who play in the Europa on Thursday and as they are not going anywhere in the Prem it may benefit us.

My only concern with Sunday Seymour is that arsenal have been very poor last couple of games and are due to put in a decent performance, this game is one that may have come a week or two late for us . But I am allways hopefull :)

Hi Jason

Arsenal have been poor, but I can't see him playing his big guns for a pointless match with such an important games on Thursday, My worry is Moyes may be thinking that a point would be great which will restrict us and no doubt play deeper than the Atlantic.

Southampton play at Leicester Thursday night and than the FA cup semi against Chelski on Sunday, I think Hughes will play his strongest team Thursday and Sunday match is a bonus,

If Stoke lose at home to Burnley, Stoke would have to win their last 3 matches to go past us, 2 wins and a draw with their goal difference would not be good enough unless we get absolutely hammered in our games.

That leaves Southampton, should they lose away at Leicester than they would need to win 2 and a draw to equal our points, this is all providing we lose every match for the rest of the season.

Bloody hell this is ridiculous, playing on ifs and buts to stay in the Division, I know Moyes has steadied the ship but we should be out of trouble by now, his be in charge 6 months.

Another season that never got going, injuries upon injuries, Tatics that don’t work and sad to say some players that have not left it all there, combined with a bridge crew made up of admirals with no idea and no real thought of genuine change . Oh well COYIS :)

Lets be honest none of these players are actually Moyes choice. He has done well to get a tune out of them with Slav this squad would have been down by now. The squad is lacking quality in most departments and this summer there needs to be a massive clearout starting with Carroll (5 games a season is not acceptable) Reid a mistake every game, Noble legs are treading water and I could go on. Time for some investment in the team to match the stadium, Upton Park has gone we have to draw a line in the sand and move forward. Over 50 years supporting the hammers and it never gets any easier but I like all of you I wouldn't swap it for any other team. COYI.

When teams like CHELSEA AND ARSENAL are vulnerable you have to go for it and forms Moyes is too defensive I understand when you are down the bottom your tactics change but a point ain't going to make much difference but 3 will and why I got negative vibes from a few we should definitely gone for it against Stoke as they are average at best and is it a coincidence that when against Chelsea and Stoke when we played with two up front and attacking football we looked a better side by a mile and why I can't guarantee we would have won or lost both games there is a big chance we would have beaten Stoke and maybe Chelsea.

Whilst I disagreed with your tactics against Chelsea I agreed with them regarding Stoke. Moyes mucked up there a bit.

your probably right dave but I get so angry because Chelsea were vulnerable but I get what you mean because CHELSEA have got the players to hurt you but thoughrt STOKE were very poor and we should have won that game but one more point and I think we are ok mate.

Yea I understand totally about the Chelsea comment they could of gone for it. For all we know that point might save us or those 2 points lost might have doomed us. It's difficult to say. What is 100% we can both agree on is our owners are shocking. It's only a matter of time before we go to the championship.
