Hmm. Arnie has grown up a lot in the last two years. When he was with Balotelli in Italy, they were Oliver and Hardy.

Bit of a risk I agree markro. Perhaps it could work though Maybe Arnie will have a positive effect on him or he could just be a nutcase but strikers of his quality don't come easy if we could get him on a similar deal to nasri short term with an option then I'd be very tempted.

Unsure on what balotellis attitude is like at the moment surely he's grown up abit now?

Thanks for clarification on that Ed Why are you so sure? Did see he's possibly going to Marseilles? If so still leaves Newcastle desperate maybe they will then come in for Carroll.

Mike we were looking at Gabigol? Are we in the market for a striker or more of an opportunity buy due to availability.

He’s in his third consecutive one yr contract at Nice, which says a lot - yet he’s scored 33 in 51 appearances for them, which also says a lot!

There was some trouble last yr when a move to Marseille fell through.

The fact that there isn’t a long queue looking at him on a free for this summer is interesting too.

He didn’t do particularly well for City or Liverpool.

He can play, but I wouldn’t take the risk.

Thanks ed. Things can change pretty quickly at least we are not desperate despite all the injuries the team is doing well and we aren't in a bad position at all. We don't have to panic buy in January like previous seasons but we can't rest on a laurels and if the right players are available then we should pull the trigger (providing there is suitors for players we need off wage bill) looking at you perez.

AS stated beforeGABIGOL is being pushed hard to WH by Joorabchian , BUT WH HAVE TO SHIFT players starting with MR Perez this could end with WH paying half his wages where ever probably back to Spain IRONMIKE.
