Agree Mike, the defending was poor when you think what they're going to be up against in the prem it's frightening, we definitely need reinforcements.

I watched the game today via you tube. Still worried about our defence, I feel we got opened up too easy, especially considering who we were playing.

Kouyate and obiang looked all over the place, better when noble and rice we’re together.

Don't think you can blame Ogbonna for the goal. the player ran outside of and in behind Balbuena to take the through ball. If anything Balbuena was caught flat footed by the pass.

It was a very good pass matched by a good run. Perhaps we should of stopped the pass in the first place there were enough bodies around him to do so. perhaps if rice and noble were on there wouldn't have been such a gap and the potential pass blocked.

Long time reader, first time poster here!
Excited for the seaon ahead, as per every year though eh.
Thinking of realistic incomings / outgoings between now and deadline day.
Outs: Kouyate, Obiang, Antonio (maybe), then squad players such Byram, Oxford, Hugill (all out or poss loaned)
Ins: defensive midfielder, Wide man with pace.
Got to think that's our lot then. We'd have 4-5 centre halves (incl. Rice with Reid back), Nobby, Rice, newbie in centre mid with the option of dropping jack as cover.
