Mike, how can we be in for anyone with no manager or recruitment head in charge?

Who is deciding the targets and authorising going for them?

As for the manager saga, Does anyone really believe we'll get Rafa, or Fonseca, or Emery, or Pellegrini?

It's like last time when we were "in for" Ancellotti and got Moyes, or time before when in for Rafa or Bielsa or Emery or Klopp and got Slav.

Why is this stuff all so readily in the public domain (it clearly serves a purpose) and where is the track record of the clown in charge getting a high profile manager over the line ever?

It won't happen. With truly decent owners we'd be an attractive prospect. With these clowns we're not.

Sullivan may even have big ideas and really want these big names, but his ability to deliver is zero, as he's shown he's a little fish in a very big pond.

The fact it's all public means "we tried", "we did our best" etc. In the meantime we'll alienate Moyes who is solid if unspectacular, and end up scraping the scummy bottom of the barrel at 5 mins to midnight.

This has all the hallmarks of another Sullivan shambles. If we REALLY wanted these guys they should have been conditionally sounded out a long time ago and it just now be a box ticking exercise.

But it's not as it never is.

The fools in charge will probably delay it further too by going on holiday for a week or two and having their 'end of season's review.

I have very little hope for a positive outcome to this process and see no reason based on past performance for there to be any.

It’s allways difficult stubbo, but on one point I have to add that Rafa Was coming to West Ham and had accepted the job when Real Madrid stepped in, no one can blame him for going to real .

If Moyes is walking away, I think it shows the fans that the ambition of our owners is zero. Stubbo is right, delivering a big name is not something Sullivan is capable of. you need to hit the little rat in the pocket before he takes notice of the fans too.

As stubbo pointed out. How can we possibly be linked to players when we don't know who the next manager will want it's a joke.

If Moyes has asked them to give him a say on who we bring in, he has obviously been told it's not happening. I'm so anti Sullivan at the moment. I want him gone, don't mind Gold, but Sullivan has pissed off players, coaches, other clubs, with his stupid statements. he f'ing embarrasses the club.

"How can we possibly be linked to players when we don't know who the next manager will want"

but this is how most clubs work, certainly on the continent. And PL clubs will start to mirror them.

Clubs can't afford any more to allow new managers to pursue their own transfer policy.

There will be a transfer policy that a new manager - or coach - has to buy into.
