Article in Daily Star (yes I know) stating Sully is going to delegate transfer dealings from now on and improve scouting, any truth to this?
ps. thought we were excellent yesterday, all hernandez needed was to start with quality behind him :-)

Yep, Sullivan video on official site in which he says complete restructuring of player recruitment and then they are trying hard to make things better!

It's just more bull to stop the march, only a complete idiot would have more revenue, less running costs and manage to spend less money.

I do believe it's talk to appease the fans we can only wait and see I just want to see performances on the pitch and points on the bored we don't need no march yet.

the plan also states the manager has to see the players live and they must have been scouted 5-6times. they better get started moyes will be very busy and should be going to games right away like we seen in January. this is all good but when we decide we want a player we have to be willing to get the deal done yes of course you haggle. but please no derisory offers and dragging transfers out a lot longer than they need to be maybe you pay more than you wanted to but it's better than losing out, panic buying having a thin squad struggling in the league then having to invest in January when prices are inflated anyway. you may aswell have just coughed up in the summer.

let's hope Michael tabor can get on board aswell for extra financial backing.

we do have a good first 11 but we must look to improve to help retain our best players. also want us to see us sign young quality players. really build a strong team for now and the future.

Hes said he'll delegate the player scouting and identification.

Who do we all think is still going to be doing the price negotiation with other clubs? No way will he delegate the actual deal making.

Which means we'll be slower and more methodical identifying our targets, and equally hopeless at then getting them over the line.

Also begs the question how we'll sign anyone in the Summer when the manager won't have any games to go and see players at.

Amongst the million questions that the possibility of m tabours possible money injection raises, is one of more better ( followed by loads more lol ) would you insist on a director of football to deal with all transfer dealings? . I hope so.

Cheera for replies guys @jasonb, I agree wholeheartedly with you.
A DoF is urgently required as Sully seems to have burnt his bridges with a fair few clubs. Knowing the right palm to grease/ shoulder to rub is soooo important unless you have 100s of millions to spend.

Its a move in the right direction bringing in a DOF but are we dreaming to think the chuckle bros. will let someone else handle our transfers.
